No, I modified one of the pictures on that website. Sometimes you're supposed to get permission from the person who puts up the picture which is something I should check into more often...

Okay, I'll be back later on...
yeah no kiddin' the last thing you need is for someone to get mad at you for using there stuff and not asking.....although there are some places that dont care or dont say anything about it... and then there are those that dont care aslong as you let them know your using it ;)

ok see then rav

I didn't know. I'll look out for instructions in future. Is it usually quite obvious? I have never noticed any announcements or anything

well not really..... but most places have a link highlighted with titles such as graphics and or whatever and usually it will say what regulations to follow....but if I dont see any of those I usually use the picture......and if in a different langauge....will there is nothing I can do ;) ........but hey I never say that there my creations or anything so if anyone ever comes after me its fine I didnt take credit for it so they can only get angry with me  ...if I put it on my sites however some credit to them or at least not have it linked to there site would be nice so as not to upset them ;)

generally though if you go to yahoo or google and click on a pic the site shoud pop up with it and sometimes the people will give some kind of rule or what not. ;)

It makes sense. I just never thought of it. I suppose I kind of assumed if it was available as an image they wanted people to look at it. If I really like a picture and there is a big print for sale I might buy it, so I sort of thought of it like advertising, maybe. But I am glad to know this

@ Slade. We put the clocks forward an hour at the end of March and back again at the end of October. Seems that they do the same where Juni is, but I infer that you don't? Strange you would have such differences, or it seems so to me.

@ Juni. Yes I love it when it is lighter in the evenings. Gives you such a lift :D

I'm back. I know you missed me, so you don't have to admit it. :D

Almost everywhere in the states follows daylight savings times. The exceptions are Arizona and Hawaii which do not follow DST, and Indiana which is a grab bag where some do and some do not follow DST. (Read Wikipedia's entry for more info)

Right now our trigger days are the first Sunday in April and the last Sunday in October but starting next year it will be expanded to the second Sunday in March through the first Sunday in November. This will add 3-4 weeks of extra light.

So we won't.

Here day light saving time is pretty useless. Sunup at 6.30am sundown at 6.30 pm. More or less... variation is in minutes rather than hours. And very little twilight.
