I think they released it at the equivalent of $26 USD here. Maybe they didn't have high hopes for it. I know I bought it soon after it's release.

@Phreddie, I was suggesting slade try the PC version of Baldur's Gate. I've never tried DA so I can't comment on that...

WoW is online though right I want a game thats not online.

Of course, it's not daytime for me...

@slade, try demos if you can. Cheaper than renting.

I also would not recomend Dark Alliance. The game failed to grab my interest, and it had a poor story line and combat system. They combined many actions that in my opinion should not have been allowed, and it takes forever for you to complete some simple quest for nothing in return.

While a long game is good, Dark Alliance was to mediocre to really make me care. I also want replayability. It may take me 100 hours to finish, but if I do not think it worth it to play it through again over other games, than I will not.


Oh, yes, and I do not play MMORPGs. Especially ones that are overly popular... and when I would be one of the few people to have a small and insignificant character in the game.

I can attest to that seing as its day here.

I suppose DA just latched onto a popular and well-selling name too...

I don't play MMORPG's either. Simply because of the cost and the inability to get anthing half-decent running here.

@ Rav: Yep. I wrote a review for a game site a while ago from the "newbies" (did not play it through) point of view. Played it fopr six hours, and , in my opinion, got no where, nor did it make me feel like continuing.

In the UK, it's 11PM. Though the clocks go back an hour at midnight- which will make things slightly more complicated....

Ah well, it's not like I had a system capable of playing it even if I wanted to anyway.

Wow... I have not reviewed anything for a while...

I am nowhere near fable. All my work is for free and gets dropped in game sites from a gamers point of view...

A couple of days ago I sent of an email to the Admin of a new site asking if they need a review for KotOR II done... they are up and coming, but they won't last long with nothing to offer...
