Going to have a rant, and I don't care who knows it!
I have spent ALL DAY at a conference with no content. Freakin' charlatans wasting my time and getting paid shed loads of money for it. And the last session was some kind of "motivational" stuff led by a guy whose qualifications for telling ME to feel good about myself were that he was once a member of the BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SKI-ING team

Well, he's certainly the lucky one...
No doubt everyone who meets him, really cares about that particular fact.

We got something similar - this guy came in, told us he used to coach the Scottish junior golf/football teams. Then he taught us to meditate - someone farted at the 'relaxation'...

The question is, if he's coached them, why isn't he doing it now?

Yeah, and what's the more rewarding job again, motivational coach or 'Member Of The British International Ski-ing Team!'?
Obviously, he has to be a terrible ski-ier...
