Heh, I can imagine.
I had lecture about "Planning of Informationsystem" or something like that. The course of diagrams and such and how the whole project of making programs and sch are planned and so on...
That sounds a bit like the lecture I have on Wenesdays. What diagrams do you cover?
Mine covers Class, State, Sequence, Use Case etc. It's part of the UML- Unified Modelling Language (sounds more impressive than it is

).
Okay, I'll avoid the topic of University after. Not trying to bore anyone.
Luckily those aren't going to bother me, cause we don't have Halloween that way..
But then again, we have that kind of tradition in Easter...
What? Kids go around to random houses asking for Easter Eggs or something?
I haven't had any trouble so far today, but it's still early. I might bother to answer the door and give out chocolate, depends how nice I'm feeling at the time...

Yes, those UML- and ER-diagrams. And lots of other general stuff more or less linked to those.

Well... kinda. Usually they get chocolate-eggs, almost any candy goes
Yes, I know, that sounds strange, but that's the tradition we have.
Oh, we "unoficially" celebrate Halloween, schools are decorated to fit the theme and there are parties with Halloween-theme, but it's not official tradition.

Ah, yeah I had to cover ERD's (and DFD's) too, but apparently that's the old stuff, so we use the newer UML now. Until someone thinks of something better ruining it for everyone who studied UML.

*shrugs* Doesn't sound that strange. Not any stranger than trick or treating anyway. And I guess the Finnish tradition avoids the 'trick' part too, where things get covered in eggs.
I'm going to sort out the SG-Story part now, just need to add some more about an ambush at the end...

Yes well, we are going to learn both ways, the new and the old
Not sure what's the point, but maybe the old stuff helps some way...
And it's not even difficult, so no matter.

Yes, we don't have that trick-tradition.

Okay. When you are ready tell me and I'll post my new part

Yeah, that's what they did for us in the first year. Some people out there may still use it and expect their consultants etc. to be able to look at any old diagrams already drawn or to be able to draw something similar if the customer requires it.
That's how it was explained to us anyway...

Oh yeah, you didn't learn about UML until now...
We are learning those during the first year (actually, now)
Done.
Okay, have to check

We did. A combination of the old stuff (Object-Oriented?) and the UML in the first year- and everyone had to take the subject. This year is one of the optional modules and it just builds on the UML stuff we already know. Quite simple.
I'll avoid saying more about UML now.
Just had the first batch of trick or treaters...
How are you, slade?
And shouldn't Juni be around?

Before we close this subject (which was btw very refreshing

), we don't have had the object-oriented programming course yet, but IIRC it should be soon, maybe in next period or the one after that.

Hehee, those are always irritating, right?
BTW, you part looks nice.
Wasn't Zat'n'ktel that single-hand-weapon? The one Goa'ulds and Jaffas use? What was the name of the long one?

What has happened then??
And I don't think we scared Juni off, cause she wasn't here anymore when I came, or at least she didn't answer...

Yep, though hopefully there won't be too many tonight.

Just 'staff weapon' AFAIK. Don't think there was ever a fancy name for it...
And, yeah, the zat is the single-handed one that stuns first.
I'm going to have some dinner now, so I'll be back a little later on.
Hi Fibey!
