Whoa... Calm down Macen. I agree with you though. I want a real selection between races. Just like in Star Wars RPG. That way you have the choice to pick a small race that is physically weaker (-2 to strength) but that is a lot faster (+2 to Dexterity). I also think it would be cool to start off with say 4 races to choose from and then have 3 unlockable races. If you finish the game Light side then you unlock a new race. You finish the game Dark side you unlock a different race. You finish neutral, you unlock a 3rd race. That was just a thought that came to me while I was typing... let me know what ya'll think.Macen Press wrote:Because 1 i didnt no u can do tht on the xbox and im sure u cant and also if u r revan or exile and u use the mod itll jst b stupid!!!!!111
To be honest, this is an RPG and not an RTS or FPS; I do really prefer quality over quantity and would rather have 9 really well made characters with lots of background and with special personalities than 20 "just-to-talk-with" characters.darth humac wrote:I want more characters in your party. So that you will have more people to talk to. Instead of having 9 there could be like 12 or 18. Or how about choosing how many you can have ( with a limit of course of like 20 ). This would satisfy people who want lots of party members and people who want a smaller party. But there would always be certain characters in your party that are vital to the storyline.
Well Darth Z to be honest i wasnt suggesting that you go out and pick up random people and put the on the Ebon Hawk. If you played The Sith Lords more than once and played different sexes or force allignments then you should know that there were some charachters that you picked up according to your character. This is sorta the same thing. Just because there is an option to invite them into your party dosent mean they have to suck. I find it hard to believe you would think that the game developers would allow you to just go and pick out so and so from the game and let them come on the ship. OBVIOUSLY the people you would be able to bring into your party would influence the story and gameplay. (Give me a little more credit then that)DarthZ wrote:To be honest, this is an RPG and not an RTS or FPS; I do really prefer quality over quantity and would rather have 9 really well made characters with lots of background and with special personalities than 20 "just-to-talk-with" characters.
Well, I suppose you're right. But if the developers would make 20 characters instead of 9-12 they wouldn't probally be as well made as the 9-12.darth humac wrote:Well Darth Z to be honest i wasnt suggesting that you go out and pick up random people and put the on the Ebon Hawk. I agree here. Not only HK droids but also different combat droids as well. The good thing is that they won't be affected by most Force Powers (except Force Lightning and Disable Droid) and it will be advantageous in a battle, especially against Force users, even though they don't have Force Powers like the Jedis/Siths.Darth Chef wrote:
Also, if you have an HK series droid in your party, it should be able to learn to wield a lightsaber kinda like General Grievous.
FighterTundra wrote:Droids with lightsabers sound nice.
on Dantooine in kotOR I, there was a droid called 'Jedi Droid' in the jedi enclave.
was that droid a jedi himself (able to wield lightsaber and the force), or was it a droid just called like that because it belongs to the jedi? i just don't get it :S
marten0305 wrote:Not to knock the idea cause it's great but Grievous was a cyborg, he had metal mechanical parts(obviously lol) and he had internal organs(flesh).
That would be a good idea. Not to mention the fact that you will finally get a chance to meet a Fett in person after hearing of his name quite a lot of times in the KOTOR series.marten0305 wrote: Now, one character i would find very interesting is a Fett. I haven't had a chance to read all of this thread so if it was brought up before then this how i would feel about it. A Fett as a renegade mandelorian soldier not yet a bounty hunter, the story involving him could lead to him starting the family buisness of bounty hunting. Since most the kotor(playable) characters are important in the star wars universe, a playable Fett that was the first Fett to become a bounty hunter would be important to the star wars universe.
There was already a reference to a Fett in kotor, as a armorsmith. So maybe in stead of renegade soldier, they could do a story where the Fett's go from craftsmen to bounty hunters.
A cyborg is basically a living being except that it is fitted with robotic parts. hence, the reason why General Grevious is a cyborg.Mandalorianx wrote:well as you said he WAS a cyborg, but i think i read something on wiki maybe, that he was'nt always cyborg but a living beeing...
