i like the idea that you have to pay or bribe to get to a new system before you get a ship but i'd hate to have to fight through a group of sith every time i take off! that really got on my nerves in Kotor 1.I am all on board with killable charachters but i dont think a sith lord renting an apartment like on TARIS would give a good impression. I'm Darth Reven check out my snazzy apartment only on cribs!

are you serious? i loved turret fighting, i just wished there had been more than 3 instances (in K2) in which you got to do it. i'd take turret fighting over swoop racing anyday :D

it's rarely boring for me. ah well, i guess the game wasn't meant to make everyone like everything about it

True but that was the only thing that bored me but i didn't really like it because of the same cutscenes the same place of fight the same route the ships took the same amount of fighters it just got boring!

Anyway I think something else that would be cool is that you would be able to go to the top of the ship and repair stuff after a battle or stuff. Maybe T3 could tell you that something was broken and you need a certain amount of repair skill to fix it and then if you didnt have it the ship would act wrongly based on the what happened!

not bad at all, my friend :D

i know how the developers could make the turret fighting new and less boring. for one thing (and i think i suggested this a while back somewhere), get some help in it. i failed the turret thing the first time i did it because i wasn't used to it, so maybe some help would be nice for new players. besides, Luke and Han teamed up :p

another thing is to change up the background a little bit. i actually liked the escape from taris and the escape from the leviathan because it was different. when i finished off the fighters, i just shot away at the cruisers, even though it did nothing :D and keep the changing direction thing too (above Onderon), but make it more realistic, not that the ship moves at exactly the same direction so that you can still keep shooting at it with minimal change in aim.

one other thing to amp it up: more fighters to shoot. more i tell you, MORE!!!! *goes insanely hyper at the thought of more destruction, thinking he's become HK-47 or some sadistic, human version thereof*

If they can magnitise them selves to to the out side of a speeding ship why not the wall on the side of the stairs? or for that mater the railing on the latter and just go right up, and since the ship needs a turbolift anyway why cant it just go to all 4 of the technical floors!??!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!? ok so in the current Ebon Hawk there are 3 technical floors, underneath the ship, or in space sup-ship deck, the ship deck it's self, and of course above the ship, or in space the above-ship deck, so if there are 2 inner decks then the turbolift would have to go though both of them right?!

Space Fight

It pissed me off that I let those little buggers shoot me for a good half hour once and all they did was make noise. I think if you are having to fight for your life, lets actually have it be a real challenge with real threat levels. I mean come on, how lame was that? Their fire power was barely enough to scratch the ship while mine blew them outa the water with one hit! Not fair, come on, lets be realistic.
I think a battle with a capital cruiser isnt too much to ask for. Ok... Maybe an escort ship or something similar to my own! With flight control!

so kind of like what happened with the space battles in Battlefront 2? if so, i'd love it :D i love the space battles, minus trying to land in enemy hangars without getting blown out of the sky by auto-targeting guns...

Never played that game, but boarding a vessel would be could be a cool option, be aggressive in this new game. I am still voting for no ship, batter passage.

you should give it a shot, it's pretty good. all combat, little story, so you don't HAVE to play the first one.

anyway, it's kind of hard to get both of those in there. apart from a tractor beam, what passenger shuttle would aggressively attack a capital ship? and what passenger shuttle would be equipped with laser cannons anyway?

The Coolest Passenger ship ever thats who. :p

Seriously good point, but remember you can book passage from any one, including some pissed off mandalorians who might be looking for a quick exit to their long and otherwise honor-less demise. I'm not saying you dont get some cool choices, I mean, Who wouldnt want to ride with some Rodian hippies, or dance for your passage on a Huts freightor? Maybe the side missions you have to find a pilot crazy enough to do the Kessel Run in 5 Parsecs! (Or whatever that quote was)

It would ad an interesting side quest to every planet i think.

hehe, good point i guess :) it was 12 parsecs, and apparently a parsec is a measure of distance, not time.

Both very true, But I like having my own ship:mischief:, how about this: you find the Ebon Hawk, but it's....well lets just say its not working any more...... at all..... so at first, you do have to get a pass on a passenger transport, then, O lets say end of first planet, you steal a small ship, small and very expensive, you sell it and have the Eben Hawk......uuum *remade-ish* kinda thing, and there you have it! We have the Ebon Hawk, But IT'S: brand-spanking NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but you have to complete the second planet before the Ebon Hawk 2 is dun, what do you think?

sounded like a "meh" idea until "Ebon Hawk 2" came up. decent name, even though it lacks originality. i like it :D and let us design EH2? :D

I think that there would be multiple ships. Revan left the ship behind to go to the unknown regions, I presume he still has it, (his new ship). And the Exile had to either bring the Ebon Hawk or a huge, Ravager like, ship. It seems more likely that he/she would use the Ebon Hawk.

I would think that since it will be an MMORPG that we will get to build our own ships, and the likes. Kinda like in Galaxies. But I would like to see destroyers and large ships of the like.

I hope they still make a KOTOR III thats not an RPG and have the ebon hawk in it but the MMO probably wont.

The MMO will most likely have the ship style of the Ebon Hawk, kinda like SWG had the style of the Melinium Falcon :D

but wasn't the ebon hawk a one of a kind ship
I say this because everybody knew it on ever planet you went to so if there where several of them then they wouldn't have known what ship it was
