May I join the party?
My character will be good old Magus, the half-elf mage. I’m not deciding on stats until I see the creation screen, but intelligence, wisdom, and charisma will be most important, in that order. I know nothing about HTML, and I’m not yet familiar with 3ed rules (though I suspect I will be when the time comes). I wouldn’t mind a leadership role in the magic wing, though from the looks of it I’ll have to settle for being suboordinate to a number of other people here
BTW, I think there should be rank distinctions within the wings, besides wing leader and everyone else. Like (for the mage wing) apprentice, mage, wizard, grand wizard, archmage, etc… But that's just a suggestion ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
Lost Souls: A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?
I think we've misunderstood eachother.Originally posted by mikeheitz:
<STRONG>Xandax, can you post the link to the one you are talking about. The program I have DEFINITELY says Demo when I fire it up. We may be talking about totally different things. Thanks!</STRONG>
My program is also a demo - what I meant with the "No-demo" is that I doubt there will be released an official for NwN before the game is relased and therefor this is problerly the closest you will get.
@Magus: Sure you can join us - we are a GB guild.
@Nippy: don't worry about powergaming
BTW I don't think that would be powergaming, I'm powergaming

Awesome, Xandax! I have yet to make a character or decide on a class, but I'm excited about getting this thing up and running. You're doing an awesome job with the site. Keep up the great work! ![Cool :cool:](./images/smilies/)

Not unless you purchase them - but I've learned a lot about character genenration by using a demo-character generator.
There is one on the BG2 disk #1 and one avaible for download on WoTC's website.
Don't sweat it - I acutally don't know much about 3.ed myself (or 1 or 2 either
)
(EDIT: BTW I've added you now to the list)

Xandax,
We are just two confused souls, I guess... I did find another program, which is what I thought you were referring to. I have been trying to find it again, with no luck, but I do have the zip file. It's for creating NPC's, and is very easy to use. Would definitley come in handy for anyone creating adventures in NWN. I'll keep looking to see if I canfind it on Wizards site, but I can email it to anyone interested.

"Think on this, arrogant mageling: even the mightiest archmage has no spells strong enough to let him cheat death. Some take the road of lichdom... a living death. The rest of us find graves, and our dust is no grander than that of the next man. So when next you lord it over some farmer with your fireballs, remember: we all master spells enough to die"

Xandaxx,
I am almost sure I downloaded it from the Wizards site, but could be mistaken. Here is the info when you click on teh "About" box in the program.
"This NPC Generator was created by Jamis Buck (jgb3@email.byu.edu) and is also available online at http://rover.byu.edu/cgi-bin/npc.cgi. Other generators may be accessed from the main Online Generator Homepage, at http://rover.byu.edu/jgb3/generators.html.
This generator took a great deal of time and effort to create, so if you find it particularly enjoyable or useful, the author would appreciate any donation you could make, even as little as $1. The proceeds will go to creating more and better role playing tools, both on- and off-line.
Please send your donation (check or money-order) to:

Thank-you for using the NPC generator!"
I'll look through all my other links and see if I can find where i got it from.
