It would be nice to see how the members relate to each other though. Maybe BS can become one of those peace loving hippies

This might also be an opportunity for other potential writers (such as Mr. Sleep) to join the new story temporarily, as inhabitants of the fishing village or as adventurers passing through...

I would also vote to make it a new thread, while leaving Book 5 open. People who are not currently writing their characters would not make the transition, I think. Such as Jennabard. This would simplify our story considerably. We could call it The Order of the Dark Flames Book 6: New Beginnings.
I like this idea very much...It would avoid too much confusion in Book 5 and protect the continuity of the story line....also we could pop back in occasionally and work on the battle scene as we felt inspired to do so..

@All: I think this idea sounds spiffy. I can see all sorts of sinister and horrib- er, I mean, there's plenty of potential in the concept. I like it.
Yes, I could see Thalimon becoming a Demonic Psychotherapist with a Twist. What the twist might be, I cannot say. I'll figure it out when the time comes...that's how I do everything anyway. It's more fun operating on the fly.
Perhaps now would be a good time to convene an "Evil Plot Committee?" I'm sure there's plenty of polymorphing, face-slapping, and general brouhaha dead ahead. Why not go in swinging?

DF Community is a thread for discussion of plotlines for the "Order of the Dark Flame" continuing story, currently in Book 5. It can be read on this forum though I think it's currently on Page 2.

Hey all.....Ihad the wierdest dream last night.adn you guys were all in it....... It got me to thinking...instead of a portal, where we actually "left" the battle, we could do the alternate reality as a "Dream Sequence" of one of the characters who is knocked unconsious or something....We could stop posting in the Book 5 thread for now, or even continue writing the battle scene, for those who want to post, and do the side thread too .....what do you think?

@Scayde: I'm sure a 6th book can be explained however we want - dream sequence or alternate reality, all I know is that I would like to get out of the tunnels for a little while!
