Hmmmm. BS and HLD are both picking the Redskins this week.... Maybe I should reconsider.

I wouldn't....it Thomas plays for Chicago, he could get close to 200 yards. Hey, the Skins gave up around 180 to that Troy Hambrick nobody :D

But they gotta win sometime, right?

HLD has more guts than I do.....I'd pick the Vikes...but their defense scares me

Plus, being in last place, I need to take some longshots to make up some ground.

Two notes:

Even though the Redskins aren't very good, the Bears are worse.

I think the Vikings/Chiefs game will be a shootout; neither team has a very good defense, so the game will come down to turnovers and stupid errors, and the Chiefs are less prone to either than the Vikes.

That sucks....the last game of the season, and I will find myself rooting for the Eagles to beat the Skins just so Dallas can't win the division.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Cowboys. They'll go down fast in the playoffs. That is, I'm not going to worry until Scayde starts saying: Super Bowl !!!

In the mean time, I'll be rooting for the BRONCOS !!!

:D

Pray there is no Ryan Leaf in this years draft :D Or a Tim Couch.

meanwhile, my beloved Skins will forgo the folly of high draft picks (well, higher than 4 or 5 anyway) and concentrate instead on the tried and true method over bringing in overpriced free agents well past their prime to build a contender :D We already had our Desmond Howard and Michael Westbrook.

SYM/DCI Standings - 2003
Week 16

Gwalchmai 13/3 - 81%
HighLordDave 11/5 - 69%
Bloodstalker 10/6 - 63%
Idioteque 5/8 – 38%

Cumulative
Gwalchmai 155/85 - 65% (+2)
Idioteque 76/43 - 64% (-3)
Tybaltus 104/59 - 64%
Ned Flanders 10/6 - 63%
Bloodstalker 146/93 - 61% (even)
HighLordDave 117/77 – 60% (even)

This week, most of the upsets were picked by at least someone: HLD knew the Vikings would blow out the Chiefs, BS correctly foresaw the 49ers squeaking by the Eagles, and Id picked the Chargers..... oh, wait. The Chargers lost that game. Huh. Imagine that. :D

The DCI forum seems to be down for the count, so I don't expect Ty to be back anytime soon. This last week of the regular season will be fun, with several teams not needing to do anything because their spot in or out of the playoffs is secure. I can only hope that Farve doesn't embarrass the Broncos too much....
