Blimey, I've been away so long that BS has forgotten how to spell my name!
I'm thinking about making my character a bard, but I really don't know too much about them - don't suppose anyone knows any good bardic web resources?
*hug*@T

No, you've been away so long you forgot I can't spell
@AC...I would be willing to undertake writing your character until you can do it yourself. With pure intentions of course

Um, no. AC is up in the Groves with the Shadow Druids. You stay away from her with your "pure" intentions.

So it's only the pure intentions you object to then? Point noted
Although I must ask, what have I ever done to give you cause to distrust my intentions?

The most recent was the last DF book in which your crude behavior was displayed vividly through your character as he groped AC while riding a horse.
Oh, and the entire burrito business didn't help, either.
And to make this post not entirely spam, I must ask where is the story going plotwise on the grand scheme?
Nah, got too many outputs for creative energy. Spreading myself kind of thin as it is.
Besides, we need to read BS's moping posts for a while. He was just devastated after AC left him: he deserves some spotlight time.
That's cute, oh ok. BS can mope and I'll poke fun at him.

He did nothing of the sort. Your character kept sliding against him. What, do you think he's made of stone?
And you;re the one who said the burrito thing. Don't make me quote you....that is, supposing it even extists anymore....
Plotwise, you're guess is a s good as mine. All I know is orcs are dead cause they pissed off some elves.

lmao!

*waves at AC*
To be honest, at this point there is no fixed plot line, we're hoping to keep it fairly spontaneous. Nothing too anarchic, but certainly, nothing overly entrenched or inflexible either

Allow me to translate- DW doesn't have an f'ing clue where this is going, and neither does anyone else!
We should probably get some semblance of a plot or something. How do we do enemies and such?

Thanks for the invite DW. I'd love to ressurect the vampire, but I'm afraid I'd lag too far behind like the last time. I wouldn't completely count myself out but it already seems I've quite the amount to catch up on.
Worst case, I can always bring the staff of the ram to the discussion thread. It's now +10 and learned a few new tricks.

Too far behind? Are you kidding me? WBG and I just threw in our first posts today, and Sytze's busy for a little while - it just started! Nobody knows where this is going, so you definately need to jump in!

Hi! *hugs*
Works for me - just as long as everyone eventually, you know, meets each other. Because in Book 6 that was a problem.
Oh, I've got a new MSN Messenger account, too. The old screen name can go.

lol! Is it really a good idea to introduce that staff into this motly crew!
regarding your time allowance, well maybe we can look forward to a periodic cameo appearance from you then
@Cuch.. damn ... I've been found out
OKay... I suppose if there is some kind of a rough plot, maybe we can initially focus on what is motivating the orcs? And then just take things from there?
I get the sense people are converging in the Tethyr forest, so maybe once we end up encountering one another we end up travelling to BS's tavern in Windgaven????
Though, I'm open to pretty much any idea personally

Thanks Tower, but I notice the discussion thread is also 12 pages. While most of it is banter (it usually used to be), some of it might be relevant.
My character was only involved for a few months, and over that time I'm not even certain he was introduced to the flames, but was parallel to their course of action. I'd have to dig up all the old notes too as I don't remember all the details and baggage I attached to Ned the vampire.

I think we are all meeting in Tethyr and then Windhaven eventually

It is looking that way anyway.
lol! Just added you to my contacts
Reminds me, if anyone else wants my msn address just PM or email me, I just don't like to display it publicly.

@DW, I'm right outside the forest right now with Cuch. Not sure where we plan on heading yet, but we're there anyhow.
@Ned, you could always just make freak appearences. You wouldn't need to stay, so you could end up all sorts of unruly and uncouth.

Ditto for AC. BS and I are already conspiring, so if you'd like to set up something storywise feel free to make contact.

Question to the old skool flames,
Are you keeping your original characters? Quick revelation: Since the vamp was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too complex, is it possible to introduce a new Ned to the mix. Perhaps a shepherd in the form of a forty foot iguana obsessed with Little bo Peep, and a penchant for cheap scotch and daffodils. He could be the bard and spokesman for the group.
And........................if that's a little over the top, I could always resort to something more conventional.

I second that, we could use another lizard in the group.
