I woke up this morning sing this song again. And remembered the last verse.

This is probably the most moving narrative int this book, IMO. My eyes were misty after reading this passage. This is the only book that makes me truly sad.

That one about lies, damn lies, and statistics is from Sam Clemens (Mark Twain). Disraeli never would have been caught dead using a "damn" in public.
