as far as I'm aware, drinking eggnog around this time of the year is pretty normal.

No, christmas starts on christmas eve, the 24th, and ends on christmas day, the 24th. We can celebrate then. With turkey. Lots of turkey.

Hello hello Aegis. I believe I'm packing my apartment up on Christmas this year with my roommates.

I don't much enjoy holidays however, so it works out.

I am much the same. I tend to partake in Christmas as much as tradition will allow, but I do not get caught up in the commercialization that rans rampant. Christmas is, and always will be, a holiday in which should be spent with family and friends, not eagerly awaiting gifts under the tree.

Having said that, I see nothing special in the holiday, as I see friends and family whenever I damn well please, so it is no longer an excuse.

Though, I do like the egg-nog...
