Actually Hap Ki Do is Korean. Here is a [url="http://www.worldhapkido.com/history.html"]synopsis of the history[/url], but it was used as the defensive martial arts for the royalty of Korea almost since the beginning of the country. So

@ fiona. Did it say anything about any of the masters. My old master (master Titus) was I think the 4th best in the country. He has moved to ireland now but he was a very good master.

Anyway I never get a detenion as I always get good marks at everything.
