I am a neutral good half elven ranger/fighter. Pretty close to the character of flanders actually. Of course, my charisma was highest stat.

How modest T'l. I thought that moderator = high wisdom. How else would one attain such titles of nobility. Bribes, perhaps. ;)

I got chaotic neutral half-elven ranger/druid, and apparently I am a follower of Sylvanus. lmao!
My highest stats were in intelligence and charisma....with less than stellar results in strength, constitution, dexterity and wisdom.... :D

Hmm....so much for the fighter part of DW's classification :D
And.....we are are all in trouble if she decides to cast a wish spell..... :o :D

LOL! :D My two highest stats were wisdom and charisma - just as a druid should be ;) My strength was poor (7) and my dexterity compromised - but that shows in the story itself! :D

I'm a half-elf neutral good ranger-bard, follower of Mielikki.

Now, where did I pick up the bard and the elvish part???

Stats:
Str: 9 (I've no idea about his bench press/military press stuff and in lbs on top of all  I just put in something I thought I can lift, think it's about right)
Int: 15
Wis: 15
Dex: 11
Con: 9
Chr: 9

Think Con is too low, oh well :)

good post Ysh, fits well. again, I'll volunteer to scout and can adequately point out the position of the drow. I've basically got a post written but wanted to discuss before posting. It seems as if Jenna, Viv, BS, Nippy, and Mysteria are dealing with the orcs and the cattle. Aegis and Farscape/Obsidian are wandering the tunnels. Jerrenn is with Annicka who knows how far away. T'l, Ysh, DW, Gwally, and Thantor, perhaps myself appear to be headed towards the drow. Have I omitted anyone??? If so, sorry :( :o

@Ned: I think you got all those who are actively posting right now. :)

As I see it, those waiting in the tunnel will let the herd pass them, with Nippy and BS hanging to the side of two of those cows. These two will attack the Drow from behind, while the others get at them from the front.

Excellent ideas Ysh! Why don't you come and expose them to us (BS, Nippy and me), or send somebody else? Perhaps Than, as a ranger/cleric, can do the scouting on the Drow, perhaps with help from Ned?

Just some random thoughts from me :D

P.S.: I didn't want to do the scouting, as a human I don't see much in pitch darkness :)

From what I'm reading, I thought the cows were being herded away from the drow (slaughter the orcs and move the livestock in that direction away from trouble, per the wishes of Viv and other animal huggy types) :D . So how can NIppy and BS ride the cows to the backside of the drow and attack from there. help me.

Well, that's how I interpreted this:
by Thantor:

"Viv, I don't want to hurt the cows and sheep. I want to drive them back towards the drow contingent." He put his hand on her shoulder. "Once we are done here, we can discuss maybe herding the animals back through the dimension door portals where we came in. Ok?" She nodded, still uncertain. Thantor turned back toward the party. "The drow will expect that there will be animals in this area, so if we time it right, they won't react until it's too late." He got to his feet. "We'll need to split up, some of us working with Jenna and Viv to drive the herd and mop up the orcs, some of us on the drow. We will need a sentry to signal us when the drow are within range so that we can start driving the herd in their direction."

Nippy and Bloodstalker looked at each other, and Nippy's face broke into a sly grin. "Ya know, pilgrim," he said with a bit of a drawl, "if we were to latch onto one of those doggies runnin' on the outside of the herd, ride 'em low on the side so's to be out of sight, we could drop down behind them there drow… put 'em in a world of hurt."

"Oh yah," agreed Bloodstalker. "We could have us a regular Faerûn barbie cue."

After all, why would the drow bother to slaughter mere cows? They'd rather try to get out of the way of the stampede, then try to catch them once they've calmed down... only they won't be alive to do this *evil grin*

Hope that helps. :)

"Viv, I don't want to hurt the cows and sheep. I want to drive them back towards the drow contingent

ok move the cows towards the drow. got it.
but then

"We'll need to split up, some of us working with Jenna and Viv to drive the herd and mop up the orcs, some of us on the drow.

This implies to me that jenna and viv will be driving the herd but the 'some of us working with jenna and viv' will be mopping up the orcs.

Hold on... I think in trying to explain my confusion I figured it out.

Some of the DF's need to go with Jenna and Viv to protect them from the orcs whilie they drive the herd towards the drow. Other will be waiting for the drow to show up.

Is that correct? I hope so, damn, I picked a hell of week to pick up the gold paint again.

If so, then who is going where? Given my new understanding, I'll have to scrap my latest post as it doesn't fit in well. I shouldn't play the role of scout, I don't want to reveal myself to the masses yet. My role of scout had more diversionary tactics involved so you could gauge their distance from their screams. Never mind though.

I'm glad you all have explained what we're supposed to do, just tell Viv to point and shoot and she will :D

I took the test and posted in the original thread. I'm a primary bard/secondary mage. Stats:

Str: 3
Int: 15
Wis: 7
Dex: 14
Con: 13
Chr: 17

That's right, THREE in strength. This could be why Viv hasn't been so successful with the hand to hand combat...

Sorry for brief post - @Ned could you PM/email me your ideas? I could work with them :)

I am thinking Flanders could be a good scout...considering his connections ;)

@Mysteria - thanks :)

@ Ned:
The way I am visualizing it is that Jenna and Viv will be tossing fireballs to divert the herd toward the drow. Others will help to protect them as they do this. I left who went where open ended so the authors could decide where they most wanted their characters to go. Those going against the drow will be concerned with diverting the herd in that direction as well as using the herd as a weapon. Later, we can decide what to do with the herd.

It appears that Nippy and Bloodstalker are ok with going against the drow. I think Thantor will stay back against the orcs. Maybe Mysteria will stay with him as well, since that seems to be the direction she is going but that is her choice. Where does everyone else want to go? ;)

As for Flanders, he can still be a scout and not reveal himself. He can simply communicate through Thantor, letting Thantor know he wishes to remain hidden. Thantor will be ok with this.

Hope this clears things up. :)
