I don't fit in with my family, holidays become awkward. Old uncles demand to know how high school and football are going and I stare then spout off some offensive curse and remind them I never played football and I graduated years ago. They get irritated, the little cousin's pick fights and I have to break them up, then I'm a jerk for disciplining the kids who were beating each other with random knick-knacks. It's a bad time. I'd rather get a night alone to relax.

My family is crazy...you have the uptight, passive aggressive group on my mothers side, and the angry drinkers on my fathers side. Then, my mother's husbands family are all crazy jock's that lack triple digit IQ's and my father's newest wife has her animals. It's too much I tell you! :speech:

I don't really go through the giant family occasion thing any more. It's been a long while since one of those gatherings, probably something to do with all the fallings-out. Parents being divorced, one set of relatives making a pathetic excuse to get out of another's wedding etc etc. :p

*nods* I have to travel from group to group every holiday. It's like making our rounds at a crazy house.

To hear the SO and I mutter, you'd think we were planning to murder someone. We are. We have hired several snipers for the roof and are currently moving towards burning anything we see involving Christmas. :D

Way too much work, and the holiday cheer left me fifteen years ago. I recently learned how to get it back. It involves large amounts of... that's right... whisky. :D

Yes, but Hill, don't you know that a drunken Rav is a happy Rav... and the happier that those around you are, the happier that *you* will be :p

What if Rav turns out to be a crazy drunk, instead of a mellow drunk (you), a happy drunk (me) or a rambling drunk (magrus)? ;)

@ Rav: I still have my good rye hidden away in a special spot. You must be punished. Unfortunately for you, Fiona's gift for me is for my use only. :o :D

Ahh, it's a great mystery. You'll find out. :p
Maybe I'm a different category altogether...

Check again. I took that stuff too, and all brewing equipment while I was at it. :mischief:

Well, maybe we should tie him up before administering the alcohol, just to be safe :D

You're tying me up? Why is the SYM treatment of choice? :D

What happens while I'm all tied up? ;)

In this case it is simply practical. If you are tied up, you can't get into trouble, and we can safely study the effects of alcohol upon your system :p

Dragon Wench will force feed you alcohol of her choosing. She is in the West though, so you won't have to worry about a high alcohol content. :D

DW, while pouring vodka in his mouth (and up his nose!) I thought that maybe we should invtie Fas to assist in the force feeding. :D He is going on holidays soon...
