Your last name is Scottish, Mr. PG-13. :D

I blend good malts successfully! :D Actually, a malt would go down really good right now...

Yeah, but I don't live in Scotland and so I'm not Scottish, regardless of my surname. :p
Your surname is Scottish, but you're Canadian, see how it works? :D ;)

Heh heh, that was for comical release. :D

Bah, you reside in the UK and have Scottish ancestry. That meets the requirements as stated above. :D

Bah! You said nothing about 'ancestry'! Besides it could be hundreds of years back AFAIK. :D

With a scottish last name still? We lost our name the second we married non sctos over here.

I said nothing about full blooded scots or 'current scots'. Even the royal family is decended from scotsmen. Also frenchmen. :D

Hi Kitten! :D

Some kind of genealogy thing, who knows... :p

@Fiona, wouldn't it take only one generation to lose a surname?

My ancestors were gerbils, I think... :(

Not us, we had several men come over. Over four generations, all names were lost. Many people have girls instead of boys, at least in our family. My own lines last names have changed from McCleod --- Tindell --- Wilson--- Hill. :)

The other side of my family are big fans of genealogy and have traced back quite a long way I think.
That name is even stranger than my surname though. Swarbrick. :D
And 'Mee' as well. Surprisingly difficult to research though...

I think that's all my spamming for tonight. See you all later! :)

Ravager that is a greatly honoured name in folk circles. Can you play the fiddle?

No, I'm not very good with instruments. I take it there's a Swarbrick who has made some fame for him/herself in folk music then? :p
