It was mixed.

Went up to see my Great Grandmother at the Nursing Home today. All she does is sit there and think. Thinking can mess a person up bad if they have to much time to do it. And were talking a woman who used to take care of 8 children and cook seven days a week.

And my grandfather passed. :( I feel bad because I dont feel as sad as I think I should.

Storms are rolling in. All across Ohio. Lightning is already flashing here. Could be bad. Probably not though.

Storms don't bother me though.

Chu I know this statement doenst generally apply to the denizens of Ohio, but with you in the area I thought it might be apropriate: There is a reason your house has wheels, when a tornado comes, you have the ability to take your trucks off the cement blocks in the front yard, return the tires from the tractor to the truck, hitch your house to your truck, and drive like a mad man directly into the tornado. Good Luck. Have Fun. Good Game.

I grew up in a trailer, phreddie.

I like to watch the lightning.

It doesnt echo in the hollers here in the flatlands like it does downhome.

I grew up here

That's Nelsonville just south of the Poverty line.

Yep, my grandfather was a miner, his father was a miner, and his father was a miner.

I know the owner of Rocky boots, all the bankers at the first national, and most of the members of the Parade of the Hills commitee.

I've always went hiking in the hocking hills, played in the woods. All that.

Good place to grow up.

Thunderstorms are fun to me. Except when I hike. I'm an Appalachian Mountain hiker (Shining Rock, Linville Gorge), and being on a bald mountain under an electric storm makes me, eh, nervous. I don't think I scare easy, but I get off that mountain fast.

What's the Hocking Hills chu? Any good mountains around there?

Nah, no mountains, but there are a lot of good trails.

I went hiking out to New Mexico this summer though. Quite the adventure.

If you don't mind me asking, what part of NC??? I do some racing down there.

I'm in Charlotte, so I have to drive a couple of hours to get anywhere interesting. I'm used to living in cities, but I like the woods, so I've hiked all over the southeast. Haven't done much of it lately, though.

Ohioo is flat except for the southeast, but to get to the Big hills you have to go to West Virginia.

Trheres a place called Wildcat Hollow in the National Forest around here, it makes for a real good two day backpack trek. It has a few hills that rise over '600 feet from Ground Level, but for the most part it is fairly easy walking with defined trails for the most part. Its about 15 miles total.

Charlotte, eh? I once had the most boring stop over I'd ever had in the airport there... I commend you for keeping yourself entertained. Your airport is sure dreary. :(
