Well I have Link and the everchanging Zelda/Sheik combination. The graphics are mind blowing, it looks and plays like a CGI cut scene. And the stages are hilarious, the stage of Mario Bros is a hoot, watching 3d characters fight on a 2d setting, pixelled in all its 8-bit glory is pretty sweet. The other Zelda guys I have to unlock are Gannondorf (the Ocarina type) and Young Link.

What is it that makes Gaming Consoles so popular ? I've always seen them as a "lesser" version of PC games...

** takes a hit from his spliff before passing it on ** @Beldin: nowadays, with games being developed for different platforms at once, there's a lot to say for console games being the "lesser" version of the PC games. But back in the old days, games were mostly developed exclusively for one platform (e.g. Sega or Nintendo) and purchasers had to be won over by competing through the number and quality of "own" games (e.g. Gran Turismo for Playstation only).

@Eerhardt - so how do you explain the X-Box then ?

Console games are more for mindless fun, whereas PC games are more indepth IMO.
That was why console games are fun for playing when baked, like I said.
The X-box is a hideous freak of Bill gates devising, it's like a PC that can only play games.

Another MS scheme - . Halo coming out first on the X-Box and Munch's Odyssey (don't know if that's the right title) coming out exclusively on the X-Box, along with some other games explain the success of the X-Box. If anything is holding back X-Box sales, it's probably the pricing (of course, what did you expect from Bill? ) ** orders Dusty to pour him a GIGGLE ** Anyway, I'm perfectly content with my PC and I don't intend to buy any of the new consoles. I do, however, look back with nostalgia on some of my console games... try Sonic III's bonus levels when wasted .

Try the SNES Mario Kart or Super Bomberman for great multi-player fun...

I did try Mario Kart a couple of times and got accused of foul play ** takes a drink from his GIGGLE **
