Had a brief foray to watch birds on Saturday because the weather is glorious here. :D Just tufted ducks and mallards mostly but I enjoyed it much. Tufted ducks always make me laugh for some reason

High everybody!

Now, I'm close to finishing a halfbottle of wine (well actually a small bottle of 0.375 l. And now I'm wondering, should I take a non-alcoholic break and drink some fruit juice, start on the fairly low alcohol beers I bought or go directly to the high alcohol Leffe beers?

It all depends how hard a half bottle of wine hits you. Personally I prefer the mellow buzzed feeling I get after about 3-4 glasses of wine. I would rather maintain that level, so if that's where you are, drink some fruit juice to hydrate and stave off the hangover, then go back to the drinking when your buzz is ready for another kick.

But that's just me.

BTW, afternoon everyone.
It all depends how hard a half bottle of wine hits you.
Well, let me put it this way: I've been posting some fairly coherent things here the previous three nights, even around three at night (CET). At each of those nights (at least at the moment of posting) I had drunk the equivalent of a bottle of wine (or even two on friday).

I'm not quite sure how to take this...
1. Sarcasm? Well :p on you then!
2. Is it possible to maintain a buzz? Yes, very much so. I've been able to maintain a warm-fuzzy buzz for about 12 hours straight (then I wanted to take a nap).
3. Stave off a hangover? Drinking some fruit juice won't stop you from having a hangover completely, but (for me) hangovers are mostly due to dehydration. So if I drink some water/juice as well as alcohol, and maybe drink a glass of water before bed and when I get up to pee I don't get handovers. Popping a couple of Vitamin C or Tylenol will help too. If I don't do something like the above a single beer can give me a hangover.
