I live near a beach, so it all balances out for me. Plus back-yard pools are really popular. ;)

Beldin:

@Tam: 40 to 45 is about "my" temerature - if I don't have to work that is.... :D ;) ...I discovered that much when visiting the carribean... and a backyard pool surely helps if it'S THAT hot...

@Kam: I answered your post in the Worldcup thread now - I had problems with the DOC - file, sorry for the inconvenience. :( .

**starts a can of ice cold beer**

Hey, no inconvenience...a little confusion, maybe, but no inconvenience. And those zip files easily made up for it all :D I especially liked the Italian one - just hope Littiz doesn't see it ;)

When I used to go to school, if the weather was over 45 for two consecutives days, the next day was a holiday. Not sure how it works now

Well anything over 40 is incredibly discomforting. ;)

Especially when your Physical Education teacher expected you to play cricket... Those periods deep in the field were very traumatic :D

Let me guess - you lay down at Deep Cover and prayed to every god you knew the name of that the ball didn't land in a particular 8"x8" spot? :D

Re: different temperatures, over here hot days are always horribly muggy and sticky, and so seem hotter than they actually are, in my experience places like Australia have a much drier heat than here, so higher temperatures are more comfortable. Even when the humidity is really low, there's something about a British sunny day that is just...wrong :(

Well in the nothern parts of Australia located ever so close to the Equator, some places tend to get humidity levels around 99% without any rains.

On a minor note, my suburbs on the evening news, been dubbed one of the small disastor zones. Thankfully it was only the back fence for us, not sure about my friends though. :(

EDIT- Beer after Coffee!?!? What the hell, *takes the beer* :D

What else ? You wouldn't drink it IN the coffee, wouldn't you ?

That would be worse than warm beer ! ;) :D

**opens another can for himself and downs it in 2 gulps before lighting a spliff**

So it is as I suspected, the whole bending over thing was an elaborate ploy to defame your character. That so seldom happens around here too.
Good thing my character is so pure as to be beyond defamation, eh? ;)
