Magrus, without wishing to make unwarranted assumptions, I do not think any god willing and able to achieve such a nasty feat is going to be stupid enough to accept you as a believer
And balance is not necessary. Yes, you have to have one extreme to appreciate it's antithesis, but you don't have to have equal quantities. If I'm punched in the face once and kissed 10,000 times, I still realize that kisses are better.
Even if the 10,000 kisses were from an overweight bald guy with B.O.?

If I were a sadistic god with a twisted sense of humor, I wouldn't care either way. It would just be inspiration to amuse myself.
@ Ik, There's a dutch mob?

Then Loki is your god, not Baccahus/Dionysus.

Don't blaspheme this close to Easter, it's rude!

 Nope, but I wouldn't mind going on a drunken adventure with him.
@ Darzog, According to my religion, it's blasphemous to celebrate easter as the rebirth of Christ. Therefore, I'll do as I want.
Why wouldn't a Norse god ban alcohol? Loki loved creating chaos, both amongst the gods and among men. Can you imagine the strife banning alcohol would cause? Widespread chaos would ensue, crime would become rampant, lawlessness would rule the streets... methinks Loki would revel in it.
