Aye, well, it's quite a tale, says I. Apparently I'd gone and left the window open and they'd gone and taken a bit of the old exercise out of the second storey. Well, ya know, it was a mighty windy day, that thar November day. They'd dropped onto the road, get run over by the old neighbour's car and swept up by a passing dustcart fer good measure...
Then, guess what happened? Someone only picked 'em up and took 'em to the police. Like they cared a jot! Anyway, they printed in thar local newsletter, 'Communicate', what a fancy lah-di-dah title. Dearie me! In the lost and found they printed it see? Harldy able to contain their glee, they were..."
