Yu-Chi-Moo-Moo (Mccool's code name I'd given him) and Futile-Yum-Yum (My code name) were inseperatable :D

Damn, he hasn't been on MSN lately, I fear the worst that he's been punished or something, and has lost computer privlages... again :p

@ Fiberfar. You ask your teacher about what kind of stuff she wants for your assignment?

Ballads from the middle ages. Doesn't matter which. It doesn't matter what I compare it with either, as long as it is modern, popular and the lyrics are similar.

I am working on comparing Greensleeves with something popular.

Maybe you should go about it the opposite way, look for medieval ballads that can link to more modern and 'popular' music.
Here's a bunch of Middle Ages ballads: http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/eng/boeb/

That is what I'm doing. This link is quite good, I'm sure I'll find something there :)

@Ravager. I'm impressed by your knowing about this :D
But I think we should stay off Fiberfar's homework when he's having a night off, maybe

Uh, Google deserves the credit. :p
Yeah, I'll stay off the homework topic if you want...I don't mind. It's pretty quiet atm, so I could dig a couple of links up if wanted.
There seems to be quite a lot, you could probably think of a piece of popular music or genre (I can guess :p ) and then look for a ballad that matches.
