Unfortunately you seem to miss quite profusely, as he dodges out of the way of pretty much all your attacks.

He begins casting a spell, and successfully casts defensively with you on his tail.

Four small circles begin to appear around him.

OOC: I am a bit new so please bear with me. I did read the rules by the way Actions In Combat :: d20srd.org.

I wasn't sure how big each square was. Since Shile and I are taking up two scquares I wondered if the squares were 5 feet? In that case the warlock is 10 feet away from me. If I draw my weapons that is my move action. I can take a move action in place of my standard action so I could place myself in combat. Or I could throw a dagger as my standard action. The five foot step would not put me next to the warlock.

I will choose to do the drawing weapons and placing myself myself opposite to Nordak without getting close to the orbs. If I can attack all the better but it doesn't seem to be the case. Drawing masterwork dagger and masterwork lightmace. My character doesn't speak.

You can [url="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#draworSheatheaWeapon"]draw a weapon as you move[/url] so long as you have a base attack bonus of +1, so that's no issue.

As for the Draconic Aura, only one Aura is active at a time and Nordak has Power Active, so you currently get a +1 to damage rolls in melee combat only (and remember, just because a dagger is a melee weapon, throwing it changes it into a ranged weapon and negates the bonus from Power Aura).

OOC: I am not sure if it matters or not (I presume it doesn't), but during charge I get an additional +2 to attack rolls. So during last attack the bonus improves a bit. For the greataxe it surely doesn't change anything, but maybe for the gore attack.

@Claudius- Your attack bonus is one higher for two weapon fighting, +6/6 instead of +5/5. Just an FYI. I did count that in.

@Shile, Jeronis, Nordak.

~Shile uses a mystery and casts shadow hood on the Warlock, but it utterly fails as the Warlock laughs at the tendrils around him.
~Jeronis Lunges forward with both his weapons to attack him, his light mace manages to smack him across the face while the dagger unfortunately missed.
~Nordak tries again with his axe but unfortunately isn't having much luck today, as he missed profusely again.
~The warlock finishes his spell and the four circles become four human skeletons. Just as he finishes, he casts yet another spell (defensively and successfully) on all three of you. You feel a great wave of sadness wash over you, make a will save. He also commands the four human skeletons to attack the shifty one and the big brute.
~The Four skeletons split up and attack Jeronis and Nordak, two each.

Skeletons I and II attack Nordak, the first one hitting and the second one missing despite flank. Nordak Takes 6 damage.

Skeletons III and IV attack Jeronis, both receiving flank, one hitting, dealing 4 points of damage.


@Gu'Dan, you make your way back to the kitchen and hear a lot of ruckus down below. You enter below and see your three allies battling a rather old and decrepit looking man and four skeletons attacking Jeronis, Shile and Nordak. Beyond a doorway is a half grey half white man held down by a cone shaped magic device and half a dozen thick chains, with lashings and scars all over his body.

Roll Initiative.

@Allexa, If you follow Gu'Dan at all, you see the same thing. As you are not sure if they are your allies or not, you can choose to roll initiative or stay above and out of the fight.

Just a note, I've been using the wrong word to describe him. Decrepit is feeble and weak, I sort of meant deathly and evil as opposed to that.
