@Aegis: This battling in the past is getting kind of awkward. Could you post the other characters' reactions, so I have something to go on? I just don't know enough about them, let alone the enemies...

@Magus: Well, I was kind've hoping for part of your input in the past, but if you insist I get to more characterful moments of it, I suppose I could cheese the next little battle up in a few sentences.

I think Magus is right about the Dwarf/Orc thing. They would need more then just an enemy of orcs to get in.

Point taken, ive changed the post so that it unfolds diffrently but to the same end.

@Durwyn, Casan isn't an elf. He is human, though I understand the confusion with the caves and all.

It knows who needs to be fought, if you were evil, it would have MADE vren skewer you worse then goblins on lances. Plus Durn Lifted it off.

But you do need to reign in your impetuousity, Arcane. You assume too much sometimes.

@Aegis: I'll try to get a post in later tonight.

I feel as if I should lay down a few guidlines for participating in the story. I guess I had just assumed that they would all be understood, but forgot we had a few new members.

1. Major story changes, events, etc. will only be posted by myself, unless otherwise noted (and even their it would probably only be Magus or Rail I give that option to, as they know the way I write)

2. Anything to do with individual characters will be dealt with by those characters. You never know when they may be trying to go somewhere with that particular addition of the story. I will occasionally take control of your characters, but only to further the story.

3. Don't be heroes. I did this in my first one, and I think it annoyed the hell out of Magus. Sometimes, there just isn't anything you can do.

4. Make sure you read the posts fully before posting. The most common mistake when replying with an addition is you have misread the post.

Lastly,

5. I am the be all and end all of any disputes regarding the story. Got a problem, bring it to me, and I will see what I can do.

I agree completely. If we keep these things in mind, I think the story will go a lot more smoothly.

@Craig- You did ask for such a strong response from Arcane. You didn't need the title "C-a-n y-o-u r-e-a-d". It was inflammatory and could have been put far more politely. Remember to always respect your fellow storywriters!

Well, I hope you understood what I was saying anyway.

@all- I've been pretty swamped IRL, as it seems many of us are. I hope to get something out to advance the story soon.

originally i thought my cape helps people who can hide in shadows (rogues and rangers) increase their ability so what i originally thought was that casan would go on a nausea fit too, and he, not wanting to show it, would hide in the corner using the cloak. but then i thought that would be giving my low level chatacter a too powerful item so it became just a blankey for casan
