You wouldn't have killed him anyways...Not unless you wanted an angry mob of Harem girls at your throat. But, I know you're smarter than that.

I could have made it look like an accident.

They probably could have made you 'situation' look like one, too. ;)

So far, everyone is still resting Gwally, and knwing how slow it gets on the weekends, I would feel safe in saying we'll still be resting when you get back. ;) :D

btw, it sounds like you have a cool job. I used to want to be a palentologist.
Still sleeping would be good, but I can adapt to anything! (just about) Don't hold back the muse on my account, people! :D

I wanted to be a paleotologist too. Some times on survey I do actually find a fossil bone or two. I have a toe bone from a dinosaur alligator somewhere.... ;)

I doubt it, I am much to alert and calculating, and besides, I'm to lovable to kill. :D

I would say you could find some interesting stuff unfinished if you looked. There have been a couple people post and then just seem to drop out, Gandalfgal comes to mind, simply for the fact that I was really interested in what he was writing. lol :D

Mar ad some interesting background with his character too.

EDIT

Cool Gwally. I always nose around when I am in the mountains. Sometimes I get lucky and find an arrowhead or something. They are doing a lot of logging and such around here( too much for my taste) and sometimes some cool stuff turns up.

Well, Aqua-chan is in a current situation where she is about to attack the DFs as a group if I decide to play my cards with only a pair of 2's, but I think I'll just go for the easier had with a Full House...

But, if I decide to play that pair of 2's, then rest assured, as a group of DFs, Aqua-chan would attack. If it were just BS, she'd be hugging him like a bottle of catnip. ;) :D

I'll do some digging around...THis may be fun. Afterall, I *did* bring up the old anomen thread not too long ago...

I gotta ask, what happened to Ned? Anybody hear from him lately? :(

Of course. :D (hear that Gwally? :p ;) )

As far as Ned, he seems to be involved with NWN. Plus, he posts alot from work, and his company has pretty much given him free reign to overhaul his network. Don't feel bad for him though, he's probably happier than he has been in ages. Tech work is boring as hell.

Speaking of computers, I am glad you didn't seem to fry your system following my advice. I had my fingers crossed. ;) :D

I had my fingers crossed that it *would* combust, acually... This thing is outdated by three years. I need a new one... There goes my lucky break for getting a new, free computer...sigh. :( :o :) ;) :D

BTW, just so you know, I did *exactly*what you said... I still can't Install Shadows of Amn. Another oppertunity lost... :(

Aww, crapola... ;)

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. :( Must be something else in there. I wouldn't fool around with it anymore, not if deleting the folder did't help it. Guess I was just lucky it worked for me. ;)

Oh, and if you *want* your system to fry, well, I can certainly give you some advice on that. :D

Well, a sure fire way(pun intended  ) is to move the heat sink slightly off base of the CPU... That'll do it in about 3 seconds. :D

@Aqua-chan: Wow, lot's of questions. :) Anomen actually became besotted over the course of the first couple of books. Of the original Dark Flames, I think Loner was most attached to him and there was even a sequence where we had to do a ritual to retrieve his soul or some such (we had to use a microscope to find it if I remember correctly. ;) ) But eventually his bad behavior, and then being taken over by SM (which is when I came into the story) pretty much ruined him as a love object for the Harem ladies. It was actually a type of liberation in a sense, since you got the feeling at first that their lives kind of revolved around him. That was back when Gwally was a slave and knew his place... sigh. The good ole days. :)

I always thought that the DF story takes place both after the Time of Troubles and after the conclusion of the BG saga. That is the only thing that makes sense if Anomen is roughly the same age (and same level of self-serving, immature, adole... oops -- carried away) in the BG saga that he is in the DF thread. As to NPCs, I know Mazzy has appeared often, Aerie appeared once, Keldorn (and his paladin order) have appeared a couple of times, Haer Dalis appeared once, and I think Imoen. Thantor would kill Korgan on sight... grrrrr.

When you mention turning on the DF's, are you considering becoming evil, like our beloved DeeDee, or just suicidal? :D

@Gwally: naw, we need a break. I'm hoping for a little pillow talk between Aegis and Mysteria. :D Besides, we can't really do anything major in the way of battle without your talking bat. ;)

@DW: your post was beautifully rendered... as always. *hug*

computerless holidays ...

@all: I will be gone for a whole week, starting from tomorrow evening, so I will trust you with my character for that time ... hm, I wonder if that's a good idea :D

Before somebody asks: I'm going to the French alps to do some hiking, rafting and cycling.

@Thantor: If you haven't noticed, my character is sleeping like a log ... what a shame ;)

@Than - can you empty your mailbox please? ;)

@Aqua-chan, did you find the hidden registry file? This is normally the culprit :)

Ahh, yes. If I recal, Anomen had a few runs out to the bar on several occasions, and who knows how much worse things got after that! Who knows -- maybe somebody will conveneiently bump into him again? **hopeful look** C'mon, BS...You know he's my favorite NPC! Do you think you could encounter him once without killing him? For me? ;) :D :p

I'll have to take notes as to which NPCs were mentioned and are dead. I'll write 'em down when I read 'em over. I *really* wanted to encounter Mazzy (another favorite of mine), but if she's already made her appearence, then...shoot. :( :)

But, how long do you all think that Jan would live if somebody brought him in? Or, how many people would still be sane when he left? :p :D

So... you'll be gone for a week, hmmmm? ;)

"...Aqua-chan sat, ready to pounce on Thantor at any second. Her claws were bared and eyes illimuniated in the low light...If Thantor was going to be her main threat against the Dark Flames, she'd take him out early on in the fight when he least expected it"....

Don't worry, Mysteria. I'll make sure he keeps his distance from ya. ;) :D

I won't go suicidal, but, has anyone ever heard of a Chaotic Nuetral Totemic? Seems that my alignment may fall closer to that direction in time. The Shadow Druids will stalk Aqua-chan as a long-term quest thingie dingie, so don't worry about me turning on ya.

@Ysh - Haven't found that file. It says I've deleted the vital file of balure.exe (Thanks, BS) ;)

I'm crashing for the day. Maybe see some of you guys tomarrow -- don't kill AC behind my back, OK?

@A-c you have manually uninstalled the game then? If you have not deleted the hidden registry key the game will still believe it is installed when it isn't...

@ Than - Ah, yes. But we all know that, deep down inside, you really wish it was you she was going at. ;) :p

@Ysh - I've deleted everything but my save files, charactors, and all that stuff. All of the main folders from the Bladur's Gate 2 directory are on my desktop. Do you think that may have something to do with it? :o

@A-c, when are you getting the error message then? Once you reinstall SoA put those files back in the SoA directory, there should be no problem then. If you cannot reinstall SoA it is because it is not fully uninstalled (ie this hidden reg key is still present) :) Why would you want to clutter your desk top anyway? :p
