I hate to say it Weasel, but I seriously doubt even you could teach such a fine specimen of non-evilness to be anything else...

I believe I'm the one with a spelling problem around here.
But once I'm made the almight High Vile Evil Tyrant...I will make all my misspelled words the correct words.

Indeed, anyone who can spell long words with such panache could never be evil...

Titans/Wraiths vs Mimics:
Ok, before the results are given for this match, a few things should be straightened out first.
Silur, since I'm currently without my team of professionals who guide me into analysing strategies, could you plz help me understand your 'glue' tactic..Do your mimics turn into glue so that the whole field becomes gluey? If not, what's the 'glue' thing about?
Well, mimics are reknowned for their glue. They have a natural secretion which is reminiscent of superglue. If they choose to, anything that touches the mimic will get stuck (after the customary saving throw of course) and the effect would be something similar to an ant fighting a chewing gum (poor ant
![Frown :(](./images/smilies/)
).
You may in the meantime also inform me of how your mimics will score goals (when not in football shape) since no-one here, I think, can get a clear picture of a mimic in normal form.
When in a relaxed state, they usually appear as a huge chest full of gold. I have trained them not to (at least not until meeting the dwarves) since it could cause some disturbances from, well onlooking dwarves and dragons, mostly. Their normal no-mimical appearance is generally never seen on a live mimic, although I've been told that when they die of natural causes, they appear as a multicoloured chewing gum with a rugged skin. They move around on four legs which they usually only let take shape when no one is looking. To show respect for the victorious dwarves, the mimics will take the form of dwarven ale keggs with four legs whenever not trying to trick the Titans - sure they can spot the right ball most of the time, but if we shift around quick enough it won't matter
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
Ever see those street corner gamblers with their pea under one of three nutshells?
Being able to morph into any shape or form, the mimics are master dribblers and will attempt to always have a "foot" where the ball is. We stay away from the wraith, though. Good thing you can shoot straight through him.
On the other hand, Nippy, you will only be allowed the use of Dwarven ale before/after the match...not during.
Enjoy!"
Good! Have lots of it before, Nippy, lots!

Titans/Wraiths 1 - 3 Mimics
"Here we are once again for the end to the semi-finals!! The scary, awesome Titans/Wraiths versus the trickiest of 'em all, the Mimics! The game starts with Titan possession, the Titans loomin' over the much smaller mimics...with usual brilliance the Titans display their amazin' ability and good looks..the ball being passed to one of the forwards who, with amazin' power, slams the ball from 30 yards out...which hits the crossbar!! the Titan curses his luck whilst the goal, unable to resist the shock, falls backwards!! Game is halted and hill giants come in to place the goal in its respective position again. The mimics resume the game with possession, Panto Mimic, the team libero leadin' the charge - 4 legs pumpin' madly beneath a barrel husk (weird...but that's mimics for ya..very tricky). The Titans are tryin' to defend but it seems that other mimics have 'stuck' themselves to them!! Oh Helm! Prior to mimic possession, the majority of the mimic team had been busy gluin' themselves to the Titans' legs or secretin' some kind of superglue which has left many a Titan player stuck. Well...I guess the Mimics have more than one trick up their sleeves! In the meantime, Panto Mimic has neatly avoided the unaffected Wraiths to score the openin' goal!
Half-time break arrives, and the Wraiths/Titans hastily grab dwarven ale to attempt to add it to the glue-filled pitch so as to weaken its viscosity.
Second half starts and dwarven ale can no longer be used...the Titans have done their job durin' the break but wait...oh no...it's like huge dominos fallin'! Glue + ale has led to a slippery surface, and the Titans, powerful as they are, cannot bring their huge size to control, fallin' like amazonian trees with a big *phud!* to the ground! Luckily, the Wraiths remain unaffected by all this and are tryin' to tighten up the defense - however, in the confusion, they are no match for Panto who skilfully dodges their life-drainin' touch and scores another goal! A few minutes later...and another! The team seems to be have trained on such slippery surface before!
70 minutes gone, and the Titans are pickin' themselves up and learnin' to balance their weight better (some are even crawlin' on the pitch!) and frustrated & very angry, one sole Titan manages to sprint along the slippery surface, steal the ball from a nearby mimic - draggin' one mimic that has been glued to him on one leg - and whack it in the goal. A last show of brilliance, alas. Before allowin' the Titans to get their grip on the match again, half of the Mimics revert to the turn-into-football trick and then roll around underneath the barrel stomachs of the 'real' mimics. Even with high natural spottin' ability and COMMunin' with nature, the Titans are havin' a hard time seein' through mimic trickery..and when they at last get the hang of it, the whistle blow and it's all over! In the end, the Mimics are through to the finals! Well done Silur and good luck next time Nippy & Weasel!"

This is it! The moment we've all been waitin' for (or at least 2 teams have...) - the FINAL of the FANTASY WORLD CUP!
The match is between:
(Silur)
Mimics vs
Dwarves (Aegis)
Let's remind ourselves of each team's victories:
Mimics -
First Round : Mimics beat Elementals 1-0
A tough match which the Elementals would have won if not for Mimic cleverness and for the fire/water elemental 'accident' where these two elements ended up destroyin' each other.
Quarter-Final : Mimics beat Golems 13 - 1
Certainly one of the biggest results in the tournament, the Mimics once again turned into footballs & also goals in order to confuse the strong, but unthinkin' golems.
Semi-Final : Mimics beat Titans/Wraiths 3 - 1
A difficult match, but careful pre-match strategy won the day! The Titans were 'stuck' over what to do and could not handle mimic glue, turn-into-football trick, slipperyness, and mimic agility all at once!
Dwarves -
First Round : Dwarves beat Goblin 4 - 2
No goblin can beat a dwarf - much less a team. This co-host team played well & with inspiration but was no match for the gods on short legs.
Quarter-Final : Dwarves beat Werewolves 0 - 0 (2-0 on penalties)
A very violent & tough match, the Dwarves this time utilizin' a flamethrower on defense. In the penalties, it was all down to luck.
Semi-Final : Dwarves beat Black Gnomes 2 - 1
Both teams had been well-prepared but in the end dwarven stubborness saw the day through with some help from the 'awakened' drow linesmen, the football cannon and spikey armour. A word of advice to the Fat Gnomes: Cut down on the doughnuts!
For this epic match, once more 2 days will be given for the result...however,
this time, after you have given your final strategy - I will announce the result of the
first-half! Then, you will have to decide whether to stick to the 'old' strategy or change for the
second-half...takin' into account the result that has been given.
Spectators may choose to vote or cheer for the winners of this match! This will be also taken into account when determinin' results - the more support, the more the chance of winnin'! Good luck teams!
PS: I need suggestions for the Fantasy World Cup prize! Ideas will be greatly welcomed! ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)

Having sent out scouts to each game during the tourny, The Dwarves have a good idea on how to mimics play.
They come out their dressing room, a loud Dwarven drinking song hot on there lips. They're aure fired up for this final match, and it seems the crowd is too. I'm sure the Dwarves are hoping for their support, but feel confident enough of the outcome regardless. As usual, the last three Dwarves bring out the kegs of ale. It's become somewhat of a tradition, the bringing of the ale. This is sure to hell them with the whole glue fiasco that happened during the Mimic's previous match. For this match, the Dwarves has opted for a little less armour, resorting merely to gloves, shoulder, and elbow pads with some sharp looking spikes on them, hoping that maybe with a little extra speed, they'll be able to counter this strong offensive team.
As they set up, an dprepare for the game, the Dwarven Coach, Graven Rock-Eater, motions towards the locker room for his aides to bring out their lastest piece of hardware. The crowd begins to go silent as they look in awe at the creation that is wheeled out. The massive thing seems to be spitting out large jets of steam. Along the sides, multiple hoses seems to be attack, and one massive tank. It seems to be some sort of water tank on that thing. It seems, that there plan, if the mimics decide to turn into soccer balls again to confuse the Dwarves, that they will just use the hoses to push the mimics, and the balll into the opposition's zone, thus causing no injuries, or wounds, and thus receiving no cards in the process. The device also has other such uses. It can do more that just push them back while on the defense. The large opening at the top of the device, theone which is spewing the steam, seems just large enough for a football to fit into it. They will use it whenever the goalie gains possession. By placing the ball into the opening, the amount of steam pressure generating will fire the ball forward, much like the cannon. That should be a bit of a shocker to the Mimic team, who until now, will have seen no real counter offensive.

I'd sooner be an elf, and have always liked them. And dragons.
