@CE, thanks for your encouragement in Grunty's thread It seems the board has been having problems today, I hope this attempt works, otherwise I will start to become paranoid.
BTW, in The Lonely Planets top ten beaches of the world, this stretch of the Caribbean (on the east cost of the Tulum ruins) ranks up there! (though you can't see it in this pic - that is if I can actually post this pic )

Whilst there, I decided to try horse riding "western style" it is so different, and much less physically taxing than English style! So there I was, lined up to take a trek through the jungle and down onto the beach with some real life Mexican cowboys, when they introduced me to "Loco" I admit, I did worry if he was loco, but he turned out to be a gentle beast *phew* After the horses had finished rolling in the sand (they do NOT wait for you to dismount - so be quick!) we rode bareback into the Caribbean and swam with the horses!

A very pretty pic of the handsome vampiric lawyer Astafas in a relaxed private setting - this is the look that make the girls swoon around him in excitement...

More shots from Kayless' backyard
Here's a pic of Mort and Goober, a pair of young black bears that like to dump trash cans and eat garbarge. It was rather dark at the time so the picture isn't quite as bright as I wish it was.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

They’re jittery blokes, which is a good thing (they take off when people approach, avoiding confrontation).

Later on that day I stopped by Beluga Point to watch the sun set over the inlet. I decided to climb out onto some rocks to get this cool shot.
