Keep the dictionary and blame the language.

I understood what you meant but English has that sad tendancy of its words having multiple meanings.
Ah, ok

Maybe the context was wrong, too... So how would the correct sentence sound if I'd use this word to describe that I have nothing to do?

I honestly don't know, "layoff" for me has always been a term used to denote people being fired from lack of work. "temporary layoff" might be what your looking for if you'll be going back to work once there is more to do.

I don't suppose anyone is interested in mergeing all the dictionary words of all pages into one post?

Yes, but the this is a SYM-specific dictionary, involving some internet-abbreviations, and stuff that's really only relevant to the SYM forum.
But if you make the pages small enough, or the fontsize big enough, I'm sure it can fill 600 pages.

Very likely. I'm guessing we'll have to buy a microscope then, though.

oozae, for future reference, please edit you posts instead of making 3 multiple ones. If you continue to do this, you will be conintuing breaking GB rules and evasive actions will be taken (well, actually i wouldn't know

) Just don't do it anymore.
EDIT: oh, and the fact is that, it's not how many posts you have, it's their quality (took me a while to get that through my head

)

Leave the moderation to the moderators. As is, what he's posted could hardly be considered spam, or post farming. If a problem is seen with the post, you may always report it to a moderator, if one has not already addressed it.
@Oozae: IM does bring up a useful point. For curtosy sake, editting a post can reduce the appearance, and misinterpretation of post farming.
