When was homosexuality compared to murder?
My friend, or my ex-friend, he compared it to murder. He thought there was no difference between being gay and killing a person. I've heard it from others as well, I can't stand it, it tears away at me.

Hmm, in that case, using logic....I could kill that person without feeling the slightest bit guilty, because I have no problem with homosexuals. How ironic is that!?

Oh, that whole stupid sin thing. Murdering is a sin; being gay is a sin. Being gay is the same as murdering.

I hate it when homophobs preach tolerance. I have to put up with shots at the gay community constantly as I have an older brother who is gay and goes to the same school as I do. People, shut up. There is nothing you can do about him being different, how are you sure your not the ones who are different? Deal with it!

I hate it when people get my location wrong, I live in the Carolinas, born in Florida, but I live in NC.

I absolutley, positively, love it that mommy knows where I at. ;) :p

I don't see their problem, I really don't. :(
The person who said there was no difference being murder and homosexuality, he has cousins and an uncle who are gay, and he constantly bashes gays.
Just because they think it's unnatural or "gross."

I hate them. I hate them.
It's probably the only thing that will actually get me really mad. Really, actually mad.

So if, for example, I desecrate this picture of Brian May, you wont get angry?

In all seriousness, I completely understand what you are saying, any sort of rascism/bigotry that is not meant playfully, in an effort o demean the demeaning effects of rascism/bigotry is completely wrong.

Just kidding. But I can get angry.

Now . . . suffer the rant.

I'm fed up with people thinking that animals are on the same level as us. They are here for us to use them (can anyone think of a better purpose?) Also (correct me if I'm wrong, CE) only higher level Mammals (primates, maybe dolphins or dogs) have a Cerebral Cortex (the wrinkled exterior that contains thought). Therefore, I easily dismiss this PETA crap about them thinking and all that.

And, has anyone else here fileted a fish? I wont get into the details to much, but basically, you chop the head beneath the fins, then cut the side off along the backbone and up over the rib cage.

Now, the reason I bring this up is, when fileted, the fish doesnt bleed (from the meat). This indicates to me that there probably arent alot of nerve endings in there, so the flish isnt feeling much.

@ Kitten: I feel the same way. One of my good friends is bi. (Hey, and I like Queen . . . meh.) :p

Im tired of people bashing racing. I love racing, and it is a physical sport, no matter what people who have never even been around, let alone drove a racecar say.

Bleeding and nerve endings are two different things.

I don't exactly care for PETA, either, but that's because they're all insane hypocrites.

Yes, but it makes sense that if a tissue had other things running out to it, it would need more blood supply. I don't know if it's true or not, but thats my reasoning (my other reasoning is dipped in cornmeal and fried in butter, but thats another thread.) ;)

Agreed. IMO PETA are a bunch of idiot flakes. Moreover, I don't have issues with raising animals for food, as long as it is done humanely and ethically (ie no factory farming/growth hormones/antibiotics etc.).
However... I also happen to believe that humans are far out of balance with the natural ecological chain of this planet. And I certainly do not agree that the sole purpose of animal life is for our use.......

Although.. that gets away from the rant topic....

Ummm... OKay..... I really dislike the Indy Race that is held in Vancouver every summer :p

I've heard it, that was enough :p

It is a combination of street and track. And yes, our usually congested traffic becomes even more snarled. :D
