I'm glad you're so happy, but are you sure this place can handle more excitement? I mean, after all the pole warming, dancing and other sundry activities.... the place could explode
You may have a point. Perhaps I should change my order to cocoa and stop listening to Barry White altogether...
his supply of the milk of human kindness is plainly short by several gallons

It's not a bad place, is it? I moved here shortly after I turned 27. Before that I'd been located in "I know everything and everyone else are morons" since I was a teenager.

Yep. Those were the days, way back before songs like "Like a Rock" "Me & the Boys" and "I Ain;t as Good as I Once Was" started making entirely too much sense to me

Go back this thread and read about the visions I had, you might believe it then...

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
*walks into the Stinking Den of Evil, looks at the junkpile of applications, submissions and wet Depends around the pole. Covers the pile with Curdis' newspaper using CE's twizzers, pours generously lutefisk and moonshine and casts Aganazar's scorcher. While the blazing fire is warming and sterilizing the pole, collects whips, ropes and other toys and locks them in the broom closet with Barry White. Then casts Major Dispel on Finger of Little Death.*

*Minutes later, artillery barrages pounded the bar to smithereens* Damn! This is the second time in a row that the Krauts blew up a bar. That bonfire must have been a dead giveaway.

I hope that it still is. According to intel, the Gull's Roost tavern was also hit by a wave of artillery barrage previously. The engineers might be able to rebuild either one of the bars (or both of them) but they'll surely make them look like bunkers instead.
P.S. Hello, BlueSky. Oh, and I had to take my leave. The engineers will come by later to assess the damage. Bye.
