The distilling thing makes me curious though, my friends mother owns a liqour store, SO I can get discounts occasionally as long as business is good. I might have to look into that.

IIRC in most states it's not illegal to redistill alchohol you legally purchsed for personal use. You'll want to check locale statutes though. Still design is well covered on the web.

This is good to know, I might end up with a new hobby now.

I feel you on the "bad teacher" sit., man! I remember my Honors Geometry teacher Freshman year of High School...that man was as useless a sack of flesh as was ever brought forth on this earth. I ended up going outside the school system to find someone to teach me, because NO ONE learned anything in his class (read: my sister ). Maybe some sort of tutor thing would work for you???

(I've made the attempt of preparing for a saturday night drinking binge, and of course, no drinking binge is complete without something to munch on while intoxicated. As such, you guessed it, I'm letting my candy soak up my booze so it doesn't let my buzz wear off while happily munching in my gummy bears. Can't let that need for food ruin your buzz, soak your food in it to keep it going strong I say!)

magrus, those were good suggestions, but unfortunately only the milkshake, watermelon and (is that sex on the beach) drinks are the one's i haven't tried.. hmm good suggestions though.. i might try the soaked fruit thing..

well i know that lime/lemon take away the taste of alcohol better than anything, but as i mix everything up into a 5dl glass it still has quite strong alcohol-flavour on it, i don't mind, but i see it as a challenge if i can find a mix that takes the taste of alcohol from it..

one drink that i "invented": 5cl(about)30-40%vodka
half schweppes caribbean
half sprite
squirt of lemon(the real stuff not sweetened, bottled lemon juice is easiest)

that takes away the taste of alcohol and has a pretty good taste on it..

Well, I dont like to have vodka mixed with anything (love the strong taste) but... Ok, mix it 30% with coke, and add lemmon, it makes a good stuff with punch (cafeine + alcohol are like nitro).

Also, you can make caipirinha, by mixing half a glass of lemmon juice, adding some ice cubes (2-3), some sugar (as much as you like it) and filling the glass with the Vodka.

Those work very well with me.

I can give you 2/3 of it, Purple Mother "something". It's my favorite drink, I'm pretty sure if you got the mixture down right most people wouldn't be able to taste the difference from normal grape Kool-Aid.

So, so true. It does wonders, throwing sugar into the mix is a bad idea in public though. I bounce around like a crazy person with a combination of those three together. It's quite fun when your not out in public to get in trouble for however.

Locke, if you want to simulate cherry coke put a shot of grenadine in a glass of ice and pour coke over it. I think that tastes better anyway.

Good call on that one, and it adds a bit of alcohol to it too.

I'm sad to announce that my Absynthe and Gummy bear mix was a slight failure. Too much alcohol content, its dissolving my bears. However, it's made a taste paste type substance with a high alcohol content, so all is not lost. It's almost like a liquidy jello. All is not yet lost on that I suppose, just need a spoon.
