While I am a Texan, I was born and raised in southern California. That gave me a very slight surfer accent (most noticable by dropping the G from words ending with -ing and combining common words together " whudder you doin' "). Then I moved to Colorado for college. They have almost no accent there.
I moved to TX 8 years ago and even though I say y'all, I never picked up the drawl. Plus I live in Austin which is a college town so the accent is much less here than West Texas.

well I hope last night was fun.....that is ....if you missed out on some sleep.
yeah .....I got those cashed....thanks....the checks were ok...because they didnt have any expiration dates on them....so the banker said that I had 6 months....on those checks....so it was fine

Nah, I went out with an old friend thinking we'd do something fun. He sat in front of his PC and looked up stupid crap online from 4pm until 2am when I passed out.
I could have just stayed at home and done that.
That's good! It sucks not having any money, especially when you're working and have some waiting for you!
