Nah, I went out with an old friend thinking we'd do something fun. He sat in front of his PC and looked up stupid crap online from 4pm until 2am when I passed out.

I could have just stayed at home and done that.
Pissed at what now?
I'm ok, dazed and confused regarding my dreams last night, but all is well aside from the fact I got nothing accomplished and I missed the delivery of my copy of XP, which means I wait until next wednesday for it.
Reminded me to change my sig.
@ Slade, No...stupid crap. Like skateboarders falling and busting their manhood on railings and such.

Meh! Really? We were supposed to get a fix for our dishwasher today because it was broken, but they brought the wrong piece so we have to wait more.

I can make it better! I can fix anything that doesn't come apart without bloodloss!
Yeah, no good. I need to provide a signature for the stuff, and they never come after I get out of work, and I am only off on wednesdays during their available hours....soooo I missed the delivery by 1 hour and 12 minutes and I now have to wait a week longer.

I don't need to touch you to cheer you up, not unless your asking?
It is "Inconvienant to send a driver to show up at a particular time at a specific address." Meh, I am usually home about 2 hours before their runs stop. You'd think, somehow, they could arrange to here. Ah well.
@ Athena, I can fix anything that doesn't involve surgery or technical skills.

Yeah, I mean, it was tolerable for a while, and I made fun of him for a good 2 hours. But really, 2 hours is a looong time in being patient with that. I was not happy. There wasn't a way for me to get home really either, he lives a full county away, and I am not walking across 5 towns to get home.

Ha! I'm a good listener too. Everyone says I should be a bartender.
No, he offered me some, but I declined as I stopped drinking until july. The highlight of my night, was when the beagle declared war on him and stole his beer.
@ Kitten, Well, when you waited for it, and the delivery man put a sticker on your door saying he had come with the chocolate, but didn't leave it because you weren't home, then you'd understand! It's like Christmas morning, but being told you can't open your gifts because your father is still sleeping.

 I think thats why UPS has an automated calling center. I wanted to tell an operator to tell the guy to turn around and drop it off. Sadly, that wasn't one of the options I was offered.

your not drinking until July.....good luck...I tried to stop for a while and I did...then the cravings hit and I hit the bottle......I did enjoy the fact that I got drunk quicker
