Try mixing it with red wine, I heard the effect is very very interesting, and it gets not so harsh to punch down the pie hole for those not used to drink strong stuff.

Actually the taste is great, the sugar and flavor in the gummy bears, mixed with the strong black jelly bean type flavor of the Absynthe mixes surprisingly well. It just was too strong. Vodka works well I've heard, I hadn't thought of the wine thing though, wine's not all that strong of a drink. I tend to avoid anything lower than 30% alcohol on general principle, it's cheaper to get drunk with higher proof drinks. Cheaper means more drunken fun on the same amount of cash. This is always a wonderful thing.
Then again, it would be good for parties to use the wine I suppose, just dump the gummy bears into the bottle after drinking some and recork it and let it soak all of the wine up and you've got yourself a little travel appetizer kit.

Why didn't I think of that?! Maybe later when I get inspired on a new drink idea. Your smart.

Ahh Nelly, he's doing such a great job for being a recent recruit. His casa isn't too shabby either.

graah! my overtime weekend is finally over(44hrs of work in the last 4days) i need a drink!
@allwhogavemedrinkmixideas: thanks, but IE i have no idea what grape kool aid tastes like(no such thing in here) so i don't know whether i like the taste or not, and grenadine? never heard of it, but that purple mother focker(i don't think it's deliberate distortion of the word to avoid the censorship since in that one movie, the guys name was gaylord focker, so it's a word not just a one letter alteration of a bad word) does sound good, i think i'll try that one, although i think i'll wait until there's more ppl to drink it than just me and 1 friend..
@fiberfar: sorry, but it's easier to have the drink talk here since heathen's ARE about sleeping/drinking/teasing YMCA, erm i mean IMCM

you are right... making a new thread about alcohol would suck the life out of the Heathen Citadel.....now we don't want that.
As soon as Maxi see this post, he'll go and make an alcohol thread to kill the heathens......
hmm, maybe we both should edit our posts before "general Mini" sees them??
Nah, if "The Miniman" makes a alcohol thread, no heathens will post in it. It is that simple

shh, i know that, you know that, and heathens know that, but mini doesn't
it's just another thread from him that goes down in "flames" and will chip off a little piece of his ego for good, and he might stop attacking our quaint little citadel..

I'm still thinking we won, I mean really, nothings happened except drinking. I think it was a plot to make us deplete our stores of supplies. Maybe they're waiting for us to run to the liqour store before attacking?

Ok, I have to tell you guys the truth.
I have found, years ago, the Neverending Tequila Pourer, an ancient artifact.
So that means that even if the stock end, we wont really be without booze.
There is no need to worry, it will NEVER cease to lay down tequilla.

I think that calls for a drink!

Unfortunately, Magrus, you're wrong.
It calls for a lot of drinks

I'm quite pleased to be corrected then. Lots of drinks is far superior to just one.

Do you mind if I just stick with soda? I'm too young to have alcholic beverages yet.

Of course not, we need someone around that can be amused by our drunken antics!

Yeah, we need someone to tell what have we done while in drunken stupour.
And also someone to carry us if we cant stand up correctly...
