We call ginger ale, just that, or sometimes dry ginger: and ginger beer gets its Sunday name as well. If you ask for ginger, they will say, what kind? Unless it is obvious from the context ( like it is your third drink in the same pub or something

Does anyone remember tamagotchi? Those virtual pets.
Found one when I was cleaning my attic and still working. Brought back some good memories from childhood(not that I would be very old). Ahh twas fun to watch it grow, but if it died you had to start all over again

I stayed away from those for so long...and when I did eventually get one, I got fed up of it and locked it in a drawer in less than a day I think.
