Damn I looked in here, and well felt forced to comment :D ;)
(you evil people, you :p ;) )

I never did see the point of Tamagotchis, but it *could* be worse.

Remember Chia Pets? :D
http://www.chia.com/chia.html (have your speakers on)
and this... http://www.getodd.com/news/hamhock/71599h/71599h.html
If excluding the "catastrophe" which was mentioned in second link is talking, I don't still think Chias as bad as Tamagotchis or finger skateboards...

Why do fingers need skateboards

Hello Kip & DW!

lmao! :D

True, but the ads for Chia Pets used to drive me mental :p

That's right.. New Mexico is being ravaged by an invasion of killer chia pets... Secure your children and pets, lock your doors and, man the decks!

Truth be told, regarding Tamagotchis, I just find then weird.. Though typically Japanese in that they seem similar to Pokemon, Yugio etc. It is very much a Peter Pan culture in some ways.

EDIT
Hello Juni ! :)

@Kip, The skateboards reached Finland too? :(
Unlucky. :p

@DW, I thought the decks needed to be swabbed, not manned...aww. :p
Nice use of 'ravaged'... :D

Maybe swabbed and manned? :D

I couldn't help it.... Hmmm.. maybe they should send in a hoard of ravenous rabbits to deal with the plague of chia pets... :p

Right, I need a standard-bearer, a standard and a drummer. Then we'll be fit to go to WAR! (On Chia) :p
Maybe swabbed and manned? :D
I don't know...it's difficult to stand on a swabbed deck... :p

Hmm...maybe. Though there are unfortunate side-effects when rabbits are exposed to unnatural plants and temperatures... :(

Preferably from inside a nicely air-conditioned/heated office in another country.

Though, are chia plants really unnatural? :D And the temperatures in New Mexico, while different from the UK, are probably normal enough :p

I figure the rabbits will just do what they usually do when faced with potentially adverse conditions... burrow into the nearest hole... :p
He's British. He leads from the back
Is that to protect himself or to offer moral support to the stragglers? :p

What are they teaching you that you have to ask that?

@ DW. The leaders are just too valuable to risk so there is an element of protection. But it is largely to shoot stragglers, really. It is too embarrassing to shoot them in the back ( makes the letter to the family difficult, you know; and it is bad for morale) ;)

Ummm... they WERE teaching how to fight and lead in the frontier, but now they are teaching how to avoid getting bored in a ship :D :D

Yep, it said in your article that they were lab-grown originally.
I figure the rabbits will just do what they usually do when faced with potentially adverse conditions... burrow into the nearest hole... :p
Yep, they'll find far tastier things than Chia plants... :p
Is that to protect himself or to offer moral support to the stragglers? :p
Umm....the latter, of course! ;)
@Fiona, the art of staying away from war has to be taught to the higher echelons of the military... :D ;)

But mostly sleeping and eating :D

@Juni
No, no knitting  :p

Yup, the high ranked leaders are spending their times in comfortable places, while we low-ranked leaders are going to get our butt in trouble in battlefield...
if there were anything serious going to happen...

Ah, but they've been around for long enough to be considered natural, kind of like green cheese. :D

Indeed.... and their subsequent activities will result in the production of far too many 'pellets' :p

Aww.. you're such an inspiration :p
