I probably would, too. Unfortunately for me, I've been known to bring my credit card to bars and use it rather liberally. And then my friends and I would go drinking a few nights in a row, and I'd have some outstanding charges to pay off for a week's worth of drinking. But that's because I usually don't have cash onhand.

I dunno, I never bothered with gin after my first taste, horrid stuff in my opinion. However, I have no troubles mixing liqour and wine. In fact, I do mix them, a nice, big cup of a blend of the two is a good way to kick off a night of relaxation.

Your concern is noted, Dearest, but I can mix irreverently provided rum shots aren't involved. Scotch, beer, vodka, and Jager? Sure thing!

Incidentally, I don't get grass from a sau-blanc bouquet. At least not this one. I got hay, sure... but hay mixed with some kind of sour rot. I guess that might be the fermentation odour, but still... far from ideal. It's kind of an oily smell, in that it lingers. Maybe that's good, but I find it repulsive.

Not in the same drink. Just in the same night. Those liquid cocaine shots, and vodka sevens. Plus a scotch and soda, and a couple pitchers of draught that tasted mysteriously nutty.

I did shots of vodka and jager, back and forth one day. I got up onto a van, then onto a balcony from there, and then onto a roof...and then shouted lewd comments to my pretty RA in our building who was shouting for me to come down and for my friends to get me down. Then I started dancing to the drum beat Justin was knocking out on his drum set..he's a bad instigator! Luckily, I was good still to jump down onto the balcony and use the stairs to get down off of my building. My friends were amazed, the RA slapped me and told me never to do that again. I blurted out "Then don't keep me up with those noises you make, I sleep right under you." She ran upstairs and hid for a while. :laugh:

@ Rav, I can type drunk. I can talk drunk. I may not make sense at times because I forget words or drift away from the subject randomly, but I type properly! Hmm, it's odd when I become incoherant. Sometimes it's when I just get drunk, other times I can discuss physics and politics completely wasted for hours. Weird.

I think it's just a taste thing. I'm a fan of the low-oak red. I find whites mostly just taste like rot in general. Too sweet, maybe. Pinot gris is the only white I'm a legitimate fan of.

I often find myself a startling series of contrasts. About 50% of the time, when drunk, my typing is about as stellar as normal; okay, seriously what happens, I type stuff, I see I made mistakes, and I go back, and the mistakes I make are more frequent than what I'd normally make. But I still have the sense to correct them. But then, there comes a point in my drunken typing where I decide I don't care and people can feel free to figure out what the heck I'm saying. :laugh:

Yeah....it takes longer to type drunk because of all the corrections.
