6 classes? Either they're short (mine were 1hr45) or you start
early.

tisk tisk Phreddie.....respect the people who gave everything to give you more than just a day off from school.....one need not agree with the politics, policies, motives etc.

And sorry, but we're greatful for those Brits, and later Americans that died to liberate our country. They still blow the Last Post every evening, in Ieper/Ypres, in honour of the soldiers that died on "Flanders' Fields were poppies bloom". You can still hardly plow a field without digging out some ordinance from that war.

Ypres, that's the place where gas was first used in warfare, not a good way to go for unsuspecting soldiers.
A lot of drench war was fought at that area.

@ Juni, this morning OK. In the afternoon (after lunch), me and a colleague were blocked for a moment at the restaurant where we had lunch while Weah supporters marched from the National Electoral Commission's office to centre of town (where they went to plead/demonstrate at the US embassy). Don't know when we'll be able to get back there (office is in a suburb of Monrovia, but I live in the centre). So at the moment we're stuck at the office.

I'm gald/relieved to hear that you & your coworkers are safe...I honestly cannot imagine how unnerving it must be. Are you in a secure building?
If you don't mind my asking....how long have you been there?

It's fairly OK. It's not the Paris suburbs yet.

Just got the All Clear, so heading off soon for a few beers. Friday is poetsday I learned (push off early tomorrow's Saturday).
Been here since February 2004 (with intermittent returns to Belgium).
