Just quickly dropping in to wish everyone a Happy Christmas ;)

*places two dozen bottles of Aberlour Single Malt on the bar, as well as several bottles of aged, dark Cuban rum.*

Oh, plus, gingerbread, stollen, shortbreads, cheeses, dry cured meats, baguette, crackers and two dozen bottles of red Zinfandel.

Enjoy!

*hugs*
Ooops, couple of things I forget,

First, several bottles of fine bourbon (Knob Creek, Maker's Mark and Buffalo Trace)

Second,
don't even think about mixing any of this stuff, not even with ice. These spirits should all be appreciated straight up, anything else is sacrilege, and anyone doing so will become Christmas dinner for the crocs. :p ;)

As said before, I'm willing to put my normal principal opposition to the death penalty aside for those who put ice in their single malt whisky. :mad: :D

And life sentence without possibility of earlier release for those who order/take large succulent pieces of beef and want them well done :eek: .

The only thing I drink is a finely aged bottle of Scotch. 15 years where possible, straight up. And I do mean the bottle. A single glass does nothing for me! :cool:

No glass is worthy of touching it, and any glass always holds a few drops from you. It is always wise to skip the middle man when drinking some good stuff, unless you are meant to mix it.

No, no, not the stuff you left behind, DW. :eek:

Maybe it was just a trick to get you taking less of the stuff... :p

In which case, I'll steal the remainder. :devil:
And life sentence without possibility of earlier release for those who order/take large succulent pieces of beef and want them well done :eek: .
lmao! Indeed! :D
Prime cuts of beef should *never* be cooked any more than medium rare, if even as much as that. I tend to like it rare, personally.

We are very fortunate to live near a butcher that specialises in game and free range meat. Instead of beef, we get buffalo.... It is truly amazing. Buffalo is darker than beef, tastes much richer, and is actually leaner. The place we go to also sells it for an extremely reasonable price.. we pay around $7 Cdn. (total) for three fantastic steaks. Okay, they are small, around six ounces, but I can't eat more steak than that anyway... But... damn.. they are good! :cool:

I know what you mean. I also enjoy aged bourbons, and was sipping some earlier... and one glass begs for another... and another... and another.. :D

@Hill,
lol yes! And if you see Mag, Demo et al sneaking that rum into anything, be sure to alert the crocs :p ;)

@Rav,
No stealing necessary, there's enough booze in this place to sink a ship. In other words, enough for everyone to get thoroughly merry :D

@DW, I was under the impression there was never enough alcohol. :confused:
This is obviously the effect SYM is having on me... :( ;)

lol! Well trust me, there is a copious quantity of the stuff. The Tap and Tea is *extremely* well stocked with a variety of good alcohol.
After all.... it's about "getting into the spirits," isn't it? ;)

Note for non french speakers: "saignant" when referring to meat means "rare", but litterally means "bleeding"
