Dude, I have a gigabyte of space on yahoo. Upload it there.

Thats not the problem, gmail gives you like 2.5gb. The problem is the max attachment size of 10mb. It just won't hold over that per email. I doubt yahoo is better. Lemme check their settings for attachments.

Cool for the items. :) I'll have to reason out who gets what with those guys. :p

Same attachment limit. Lemme know what you're thinking you'll need and I'll send you snapshots, it doesn't take long at all. ;)

Bah, nothing!

Can I buy like...a masterwork robe and add 4000 gold to make it +2 armor bonus?

I'll just wait for the book. No sense in giving me something that will arrive in a few days.

Alrighty.

Can I do that though, my monks robe cost 5gp, can I get a really nice version for like 200gp or something and enchant it?

Let me check.

Shirt
Robe
Belt

can all be used for this. No need for masterwork. You can just get the Bonus added onto it for 1000gold +1, 4000gold +2, etc....

If I got all three, would they stack for 3000 gp total? Or no?

Posted: Tue Jun 21, 2005 8:04 pm
by Siberys
Oh hell no. They don't stack. That would be INSANE.

You can get multiple effects on them though.
Like the robe can be +1 with spell resistance
Belt can be +1 with fortification.
Shirt can be +3.

Something like that I would allow.

Hmmm....Robe of Spell Resistance 13 for 4000 work?

Posted: Tue Jun 21, 2005 8:13 pm
by Siberys
Yep, But a few rules.

Robe-
Spell resistance
Energy resistance
ONLY

Belt-
Fortification
Invulnerability
ONLY

Shirt-
Enhancement bonus
ONLY

This has never been a problem with me, so I am trying to make it balanced. These are the rules. If you find any "physical" qualities from somewhere else, let me know and I'll add it to the belt. Any other resistance qualities I'll add to the robe.

Cool with me. I won't have much AC, but if we come across spell-casters, that may help me from low level ones with bad rolls.

I'm gonna try getting that ring of protection though. My deals up-front fighting, the others can cast spells. I need all the AC, attack bonus and damage I can get.

Ugh, 5 grand till SR 15, and 12 grand for SR 17 with this robe. :( Luckily they're roughly my level and will need rolls of about 8+ to beat the SR, plus my saves are great.

OH! H.P. for my new class?!

Awesome, well, i've got an hour. I'm going to rest and read till DZ or Oskatat gets back. Thanks for the help. :)

Ummmm, Your Hp is at 56 and you forgot to add Ki Strike Psionics.

Posted: Tue Jun 21, 2005 8:35 pm
by Magrus
56? I won't complain about that. I must have missed something.

I'll change both. How's the Ki-strike Psionics work exactly? Never heard of that before.

Also, the monk bonus additions for my prestige class, does that affect my Stunning fist ability too? I get 1 use/monk level, will that still go up on the levels I get monk abilities in my new class or no?

Posted: Tue Jun 21, 2005 8:48 pm
by Siberys
yes for the stunning fist.

It will be a bane to psionic creatures, increasing your monk damage by 5 levels.

(I never thought of that. I didn't see that there is no such thing as Damage reduction psionic)

Score! That sounds cool if I ever meet up with one. :p

How will that work when it transfers into my sword then?

Gains 1 die type extra of damage.

I.E. 1d10 becomes 1d12

I like that, pretty cool. Alrighty. :)

Just to warn you, DZ said that he might be dissapearing for a few days to help out with a friend somewhere else until Thursay earlier today. I might be gone tomorrow with a friend as well, no clue from when to when, but if he doesn't show and I'm not around, that's why.
