Well over here, in a 30 minute news show, the first bit of non-soccer news didn't start until 10 minutes into the show.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Football DJ, only Americans are allowed to call it soccer. They don't know better than to call a game where one mostly holds the ball (wich isn't really a ball) in one's hands 'football'. Although I believe you Australians have a similar game to rugby, but less sissy, which is called Australian Football, no?

Yeah, that sounds familiar. I suppose everyone starts jumping on the bandwagon when their country does well in some random sport.
Well, I suppose I won't be around for your next reply (not if it takes half-an-hour anyway ;) ).

Hey Rav, some of us aren't smartly designed computerprograms.

Heh, I meant DJV, I didn't notice you'd posted before me. :p

And how's rugby 'sissy', out of curiosity? Don't confuse me for a fan of it though.

Ooh, the SF now has a 4-star rating! I wonder who voted 5 stars? ;)

Yeah, we have AFL, which is hands and feet, and then Union and League, which are both hands. For some reason, all three are referred to as football, and if a 'soccer' player calls the game football, he is outnumbered 3 to 1 :( . Also, our team is called the SoccerRoos.

I am no bandwagon jumper, as that usually leaves ones body feeling quite sore when you miss :p .

No, I still disagree. In the first place this is a contradiction in terms; in the second place, as I already said, Ravager would pass the Turing test. It has been amply shown that Phreddie would not. And I am not sure about Chu. I realise your research is of very high quality so I have to conclude that Phreddie is in fact Microsoft's attempt at artificial intelligence, and is based on Ravager. This means that Ravager is in their hands. His friends here at GB should be working on rescue plans before Microsoft do something very scary indeed

Oh I don't. I thoroughly enjoy phrases like that. They're so much more subtle that Newspeak. Do the same job, but with polysyllables
