This is not "Lestat's Lurkers Lane" So yes you are expected to spam.

Wow. That sounds boring. It would be one post and then a bunch of lurkers just staring at each other.

Me too....shhhhh

Im currently working on getting a new avatar...I love the one I have now but I feel like changing it for a while I'll probably switch back to my old one if I get bored....I still wish I could get one like yours that moves....Did you find out how to make one Rav, by any chance?

Yeah, I did. You take an existing picture (or make one) and then it can be animated. There's quite a few functions.
Did you have any pictures in mind for animating (and what you'd want the anim. to do)?

the picture has to look like what?, in order for it to work

by Ravager
Well, it'd have to be 75x75 pixels or less to work as an avatar (like your current one is- though I could probably resize for you).
I suppose any picture would work, just as long as you don't have anything too complicated in mind, I'm not not good yet. :p
So, just find a picture and say what you would like it to do. That's what I need to work with.

I suppose for your current one it would be possible to make the helm turn around, say, look in the current direction, then turn around, maybe pause and then turn back.
The only problem is I wouldn't know what the other side would look like, though it might be possible to 'flip' the picture horizontally so it looks correct (don't worry about that though).

Say, you find a picture of some character holding a sword, it'd be possible to animate the sword so it moves left to right, maybe even swings around in a circle.

Oh I see gotcha.....now you said something about makeing one too, how would I go about doing this?

If you're any good at drawing stuff, you could use some kind of drawing program or scan something onto a computer that could be animated.
Flash (that's the animation program) also allows you to draw stuff on it, but there are better programs for the actual drawing part.
If you get hold of Flash I can get you some tutorials for it, but it would be easier if I tried to animate something for you.
