That was a Joke right?

Agent Orange was a defoliate (Sp?) used during the Vietnam war to clear the jungle in an effort to combat the VC using it as cover. Basically it makes the leaves fall off plants.
As per usual with such things no-one on the ground was aware for its cancer causing properties (This may be a lie, ie like the tabacco industry "didn't know" nicotine was cancer causing or addictive) and numerous soldiers were sprayed while on operations in the area, in fact some were ordered into areas where spraying was being done.

Basically it was the same stuff-up as DDT...
..Lets spray the stuff everywhere, oops, it causes cancer?

EDIT: Yeah, basically what Fable said :D :D

No joke... I wasn't alive during Vietnam, and have little knowledge of methods used during that war.

Sorry Aegis, I wasn't alive during the Vietnam war either, but I just assumed everyone knew about it.
Sorry if I implied anything offensive. ;)

I didn't know about it either and I wish I still didn't know, but I already read what it is so nothing I can do about it now.

In that case, I'm gonna do something really weird and get back on topic.

You know you're getting old when...

You start refering to 20-year-olds as "kid."

You see someone who's really hot then realize you're old enough to be their mom or dad.

You watched Titanic live. ^_~

Oh, I got my dad a plaque a few years ago when I was at youth camp.

Here's what's on the plaque.

Senior Citizen's Creed

Been there,
Done that,
Can't remember.

You can't remember whether or not you've had your afternoon nap.

You keep reading about Napster and gangster rap and are worried someone is going to sleep deprive you at gunpoint.

You remember saying reality TV won't last before they screened the first Funniest Home Videos Show.

You remember where you watched the first moonwalk (Neil Armstrong NOT Michael Jackson) on TV.

You remember when you first saw Michael Jackson do the moonwalk on TV :) . - Curdis

At any point in your life you've said, "Man, that Judge Reinhold is one fine actor."

You used to watch the following characters on TV and didn't have any clue that they might be gay or bisexual: Velma, Bert, Ernie, Elmer Fudd, Gilligan, the Skipper and Bugs Bunny.

You think an airbag is one of the guys at the VFW who won't shut up.

You know what "TSR" stands for.

You were alive when Captain Kirk didn't need a corset.

To clean your teeth, you take them out first.

You were happy when your back hurt after sex.

Tactical Studies Rules is the group formed by Gary Gygax and the late Don Kaye in 1974. With a third partner, Brian Blume, Gygax and Kaye's estate formed TSR Hobbies, Inc. in 1976. In 1997, TSR was bought out by WOTC and ceased to operate independently.

You make jokes referring to Slowpoke Rodriguez(sp?) and no one knows who he is.

You tell them Slowpoke Rodriguez was Speedy Gonzales'(sp?) friend and they don't know who Speedy is.

*walks off feeling old, muttering* I'm too young to feel this old.
