Yes more of the history of Weasel and his driving tactics...

16 years old and hitting the (Big) town of Brewton... zooming here and there... see's a yellow light and hits the gas... cop sitting on the other side hits his lights... time is 7:30P.M get my first ticket...leave the scene with my piece of paper ... time is 7:50 see what he thinks is a car load of girls ... gets on their bumper to see who it is...they pull to the side of the road to let Weasel get off their bumper...Weasel see's it's the Chief of the police...time is 8:02 and he's got his second ticket and decides it time to head home... one street to go and he will be home free ...one stop sign is all that's left.....time is 8:30...Do you think he stops for it.... three tickets later and he is home... moms took his keys and I'm put to bed.

And 150 hours later I finish my community service and can drive again. Image

Weasel: That's quite the night on the town...

Well I've got my 88 Saab 900S... it kicks ass... although my story isn't quite as good.. I met a cop going 115mph in a 55 zone... I worked for a pharmacy at the time and told the cop that the medicine was needed ASAP... luckily the cop knew me and believed me enough to lower the ticket... the the ticket to 80 in a 55, which didn't seem all that bad.
Aren't cars fun...

If were posting a sort of history...:

'84 TA 305 H.O. (dog) like Weasel, 140-145 mph in a 55 zone blew it up Image

'95 TA 350 tuned port 90 mph in a 25 zone

Finally decided that I may have a death wish, so just got rid of that to get a new Blazer ZR2

Glad I'm not the only leadfoot!!!! Image Best traffic stop I ever heard of happened to a coworker. The cop pulled him ove ron the freeway for speeding, went throught the whole routine and went to write the ticket, and found out he didn't have a pen. The cop actually asked my coworker if he could borrow a pen to write him a ticket?!? One guess as to the answer... Image Image Image No pen ..no ticket.

Did you ever run it thru the 1/8 mile

It should have run a time of 8.90 at 80+MPH...I believe.

I only have a bike - hey, drivers licences in Denmark is very expensive - but with all the mony I've spent on my bike - I could have bought a car (well almost) - but on the good side - my bike-repair-guy - he knows my by name, because I come to his shop so often :-)

Sorry Weasel running on about a total of 6 hrs. of sleep over 3-4 days so I'm not online for too long. Never ran 1/8 mile, usually took the quarter racing. That's why the 90 in a 25 zone, right in front of the police station. Didn't get pulled over though. Took out a '78 Monte 350 w/holley 650 single pump, single feed (?), blackjack headers, mallory ign. =~ 240 hp on the monte.

I think that I love speed too much, that's why the change. Image

I missed this post.. Image

I guess I have been lucky .. raised in a hot rod family. Closes 1/4 mile track is 4 hours away..1/8 mile track is 20 minutes away. Back when I was 19 I had a 78 Monte Carlo, my uncle helped me build a 400 small block for it. Don't know how much HP. It had 327 (300 horse double hump) heads , 600 holley single pump/ single line, an a intake (I think it was a Holley intake) a .270 dur. and .480 lift cam. Never found out how quick it was. It meet with a disaster.... me Image

Who was talking about tracks? Image
I used to "street race", I guess that being illegal is part of the fun.
The popular lift/dur. cam here seems to be .500/.500. I considered, in the past, building a drag engine, but I didn't/don't have the $250,000 it would take. Something about the 3000-5000 hp., 300+ mph in the quarter just gets the blood pumping.

@ltldrgn1: Yea I'm guilty of racing on the roads too. The fastest I've ever seen in person was a fellow out of N Alabama...4.19sec. 149mph(I could be wrong about the mph) in the 1/8 mile.... He has got the track record here.

170+ MPH on my Suzuki GSXR-750 with new jets, Yoshi pipe and Pirelli Dragons. Pig said the speed stopped registering on his little gun @ 170. Started the standard spheel about creating a menace, reckless endangerment, attempted vehicular homicide, and speeding, said he would set an example, blah, blah, all this before asking me for my license. Then his walkie/talkie beeps, and he turns to me furious and says it's my lucky day and that he'll be watching me, storms back to his car and peels out. I wheel back and take off.

Started breathing again a few minutes later.

And it's silver and yellow/black.

Why do I feel that my car is ****e compared to yours. I`ve got an 86` Ford Sierra 2.0 IS with 160,000 miles and a top speed of just about 80 MPH. Don`t dare any faster than that because it shakes so much I think the wheels are about to fall of.

Colour: Stratosilber
Chick magnet: Nope, more a repellant

I think I`m in deep **** here

Perhaps partially because mine isn't a car. I was describing an event that happened on one of my motorcycles. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't traveled over 150 MPH do so, it's a rush. Much preferable is leaping out of a perfectly good plane with a backpack strapped to you....

1949 Pontiac Super Chief. Works all summer the year I graduated from High School ($1.50/hr) to earn the $150.00! That was my first car. My longest (owned) car was a 1973 VW Super Beetle (don't EVER buy one of these!). Drove it and three engines over 15 years tho'. Currently drive a 1997 Chevy S-10 6cyl, power everything, loaded 5 speed. Don't drive it much over 100 on the freeway. (The speed limit's are merely a suggestion after all....). Image
