Ubik if this is all true... you have been talking to a considerable amount of alter-ego's the entire time, pretending they were all separate people... There is something seriously wrong with you. Image

The good new is that the monkey no longer m@sterbates. Image

The bad news is that it was Ubik who made it no longer necessary Image

Aegis, I know what you mean. After a small boost a few days ago my writing has been so pitiful my labtop hasn't been on for about four days... That's never happened to me before... It's gotto be either a small writers block or Waverly really is corrupting me. Image

A younger man... waiting for me too... I'll keep it in mind... Image

No, the monkey was from a failed attempt to raise Omar from the dead. It didn't work and Ubik has taken a liking to the monkey Image

Well well well

My little topic grew incredibly while I was out for the weekend. Sundays are my recovering days. They are also the day of the week I hate most.

@Chrissy- Hey, I've got broad shoulders. I'm a little on the thin side now, though. (between 150 and 155 lbs, and I'm about 5'10)
Not even gonna attempt the Irish accent that Grunyboy did, though.
Although I did think of it right before I saw his post. Image hehe

Well, thanks to everyone for responding, and keep em comin.

By the way, my current job crisis is temporarily resolved.

Now I have to choose between Job A and Job B.
Both of them suck, which is to be expected, since I haven't been to college yet and I can't do what I want to do for a living yet.
(Play with computers FULL-TIME, not just a hobby)
So, I'd welcome any opinions on which job I should choose. Would you guys mind?

Job A:
description: working at a meat counter in a grocery store
hours: 8 am to 4pm
pay: a "whoppin" 6 bucks an hour.
disadvantages: only 6 bucks an hour, I like evening hours better, and I have to deal with customers, which means I have to smile and be happy and sweet, which is something I ceased doing altogether many years ago.
benefits: doesn't sound too hard, except for the smiling part.

Job B:
description: working in a fast-food place
hours: 4 pm to 11:30 pm
pay: 7 bucks an hour
disadvantages: I hate the idea of working at a fast food place.
benefits: better pay, I like the hours better, since I'm almost nocturnal these days, and since I'd be in the back I don't have to smile or be positive or enthusiastic, thank God.

Any suggestions from anyone?

This 18 yr old could use some mature advice.

Avariel. I can understand your lack of enthousiasm for a fast food place. (not that I have to worry about working there because I'm a spoiled little brat Image) But I'd say take that job. It pays more, you like the hours better and no more smiles when you're in a bad mood. I'd know...
But I'm not mature either, maybe you should ask somebody else... Image
(not amny mature people around here tough)

And suddenly everybody has the shoulders... Why don't I meet you people in the street? (because there's most likely an ocean in between Image)

I believe you have already made your mind up..

Remember all most everyone has to start somewhere...even if it's temporary..go with the one you would think is the best for you.

the only thing about working in restaurants is that when you come home you end up smelling of food...not pleasant. also customers expect more in restaurants than they do in shops. but.. time goes a bit quicker and there's normally nice people about...except ginger 16 year olds- the one that snogged my boyf unfortunately works with me at the restaurant. had a go at her the other night, enjoyed every minute of it and made her upset for days. don't know why she was upset though, i don't really do confrontations and i wasn't exactly scary but apparently she's gutted. ha!

I'm not surprised she was upset. As Big Bill Shakespeare said "hell hath no fury like a woman who's boyfriend is chasing a 16 year-old ginger skirt". Image
