Celtic, Rangers has got to be one of the worst rivalries in sport, both on and off the pitch. Both sides come from Glasgow, one is traditionally supported by protestants the other by catholics.
Last time I was in scotland I was there on the day of the Celtic/Rangers clash, I didn't leave my hotel for about 24 hours as the hotel was about 2 minutes walk from the ground and there had been several disputable referees decisions during the match.

They play football, or for you from abroad - "soccer" - Scottish teams.

Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadians. I still don't know why..could be because quebec wants to seperate? Hell if I know
