Nah, you only need one wish spell, to wish it to stay dead. The other is for convenience sake.

Wish 1- I wish you were wounded to the maximum.
Wish 2- I wish you were dead and will stay dead.

And yes, I had a player waste all that experience to make the tarrasque fight easier, and I had no problems allowing that.

I don't want to extol my own idea, but I prefer Fly, Mass, and then a Wish spell to make it stay dead.
Ofcourse, my players would probably let it "respawn" so they could "grind" it. :rolleyes:
