@fable; true but it is a 'leveling' that occurs since the members selected for the Electoral College are determined by the number of representatives that state has in Congress (both houses). And as evidenced by this last election, a swing of three states with five representatives each makes the fiasco in Florida moot.
Also, since the last election (regardless of the judiciary) was decided by electoral votes rather than 'numbers' of votes, this proves the worthiness of the system (IMO).
