That's what the little thingie above does, if you'd read the post just above yours. It allows you to see those save games, and it works.

V2.2 Problems Continued
I did the same upgrade, amd have used the all saves patch to load the game. Playing on Veteran, and have killed Valdis 2 twice but wont let me move to elite. When I save the game and reenter, it has me back to the last gate to Validis and i have the quest to finish Valdis still.
Help want to move on to Elite.

Well I am not sure this has anything to do with saved games problem. So it isn't recognizing the Valdis quest as finished? Or are you simply not level 70 (your main character) because if you aren't you can't go to elite.

Thanks, Ashen, for recommending the DS2 Allsaves program. I had to reinstall the game due to some corrupted files. After restoring the patches, the game wouldn't recognize my saved games. The worst part is I'm playing the toughest level now. I sure didn't want to start over.
That little program works like a charm! My saved games are recognized again. Thanks Zhixlalom for this handy program.

Yup, all saves seems to be the only solution atm. The problem is the crc check implemented in dungeon siege 2. It was broken in the unpatched version and any small changes to dungeon siege 2 will not allow you to load your characters. This has been a huge problem for modders
